New friend!

This is Samuel (aka Sammy)! We got him from Target the other day! He came with an ouchie and some of his bottom leaves aren't doing too great but he seems fairly happy here! We think he's some kind of aloe plant, but please correct me if I'm wrong! His pot was a little boring, so I decided to paint it and I did a rainbow! And, sometime soon, we're gonna have to get him a new pot because his current one is a little bit too small for him as his roots are poking out of the bottom of the inner pot.

The resipee for one (1) Göblin

- 1 cup of moss

- 8 rocks

- 1/4 cup of rain water

- a handful of dïrt

- 1 jar of buttons

- a table spoon of little bônēs

- worms, to taste

- more worms

- 4 cups of mud

Every now and then my parents remind me of that one time we were walking in my grandpa's forest when I was maybe 4 or 5, probably picking blueberries or mushrooms, and I suddenly just disappeared. My parents obviously were worried and tried to call for me, without answer. When the finally found me, I was silently laying on the moss bed in a small natural pit covered by ferns, without any worries.

To this day they think I was hiding from them (I did that too often, so not an unreasonable assumption), but I wasn't. I wandered off a bit, not far, and found the pit and was just watching the sky filtering through ferns and spruce trees.

The weird thing is, I never heard them shout my name, even though I was only maybe 10 meters away from them...

Corn Fields: It's 2 am and you've been driving for hours. Suddenly your car slows to a halt. The gas tank is empty. In the distance you can see faint lights. Shouldn't there be only fields and abandoned barns for the next 10 miles? Do you try your luck and get out in the dark to seek help or wait in your car until the sun rises?

Standing in the kitchen. 3am. Draped in a unicorn blanket. Humming Work Song. Stuffing popcorn in my mouth. Feeling very goblin. Cromch.

something i think is very goblincore but nobody talks about it: minecraft

like, you can build an abandoned cottage of your dreams and live and survive in it. no big deal. 

there are clever ways to decorate it, too. like for example:

shroom frend,,.,,

water-filled gaps in the floor (instructions below)

1. open a hole in your floor (mine is just above a zombie spawner, nice!

2. place a stair there, of the same wood (stair side up)

3. you can just leave it as a hole, or fill it with water using a bucket! (water shown on left)

half-block holes! simply make a hole in the wall and place a slab of the same material. 

slabs can also make shelves for your potted plant friends!

add vines too, inside and out for the extra abandoned feel!

And even more touches can be added, like the two blue orchids in the front! anything is possible! 

also, all of these are possible on pocket edition as well. 

in a day, try setting aside about 10-30 minutes you use electronics to play minecraft. build anything your gob heart desires. let the creativity and frog slime in your brain flow.

if you don’t want to build, try public servers! on pc, Mineplex and Hypixel offer a variety of good games! look up instructions if you don’t know how to connect. there are good servers for pocket edition, too!
