I don’t think anyone listened to what she said in that interview bc she literally stated she writes from a human perspective about emotions and moments in time. Her music catalog is literally like an album of pictures of different periods of her life. She isn’t spilling tea she’s writing about how she feels, how Travis makes her feel, how fame and being an artist makes her feel, and experience that shapes her or changed her. I really fully believe people don’t listen to the words that she says. I think so many people listen to Taylor’s music to decode “tea” and personal details instead of understanding and relating to her experience. It’s the same people who listen to wood and think it’s literally only about Travis having a big dick. I fear that people cannot comprehend lyrics or feelings anymore lol

She’s never been more clear and yet people continue to somehow purposefully misinterpret and misunderstand what she’s saying. She’s used to it, but it doesn’t make it less sad to see.

Need people to start listing what she has shared about all her relationships to date via music and they are going to realise very quickly that these lists will be very short because it’s simply not how it works haha

Yeah I don’t really get when people use Folklore as an example of Taylor not being confessional. Folklore is completely confessional, she was employing different tools to share those stories but it’s all her. It’s just confessions and truths that people did not want to admit, and still do not want to admit, were true for her at the time.

Only diff is that with folklore and evermore, she used other stories to convey how she felt but it all still stemmed from the mood she was in which was just emphasised by the pandemic.

I genuinely think (and hope) that ts13 is going to be very rooted in Nashville too. something about this phase of her life really does feel like coming home and feeling more grounded and I'm not even talking about marriage and future children. when you just finished up the world's highest grossing tour, it really does feel like the one way to follow that up is to remind yourself why you fell in love with the thing that made you who you are

To me it’s as if this entire concept was floating in on a cloud and she needed the spark that is IKIIKY to make her look up and grab it
