ONE: to get the basic stuff out of the way, please adhere to basic roleplay etiquette that i think we're all know of at this point. no godmodding, no gatekeeping, please don't use any of my stuff without my permissions. i make or purchase all of my own graphics. no racism, homophobia, transphobia, or bigotry of any kind. you know how it be.
TWO: i am mutuals only and i'm going to be particularly picky on this blog. this is a character that i've wanted to pick up for a while but have felt intimidated by his reputation. i don't want to ruin it for myself by overloading on threads, i hope you all understand it's nothing personal. ♥
THREE: i only write in 3rd person pov and i'm happy with all lengths of threads. i can totally get down with one liners to novella. but the longer it is, the longer it might take for me to reply. i will drop threads at my discretion if my muse for it is lost but we can always start something new! if i'm following you, i want to interact.
FOUR: i don't participate in reblog karma. i will respect your wishes and reblog memes and whatnot from the source if that is possible, but you can reblog whatever you want from me. i always encourage you to send in an ask but i understand that not all prompts work for all dynamics.
FIVE: while i will never hurt your muse without your permission, please give joker the respect as a violent antagonist. if your muse just constantly badgers him while in the same breath, you don't want harm to come to your muse, i will probably drop the thread. he is extremely violent and extremely dangerous.
SIX: regarding shipping, i am not against the idea but please keep in mind who joker is. while i will portray him with the ability to care for another person, that doesn't mean he'll put them on a pedestal. he will still manipulate and mistreat them. i'm hesitant to say he could love someone else but who knows, maybe your muse will change his mind- but the above warnings still apply. i will ship with any gender!
SEVEN: this particular blog is inspired by the portrayal in the batman (2022) film with barry keoghan and this is the setting i typically put him in. he has heavy influence from mark hamill's interpretations in the animated series and the arkham video games. but it's still sort of a mix n' match from all the things i like from various different medias.i do not write as or follow the story line of other portrayals such as heath ledger, jared leto, cameron monaghan or joaquin phoenix. please don't ask for these portayals. but with this being said, im more than happy to insert my joker into any batman media if talked about, including the nolan verse, gotham, etc. etc.also i have never seen the suicide squad or birds of prey.
EIGHT: harley blogs- my joker does not love harley. he loves what she can do for him, and does find her mildly entertaining sometimes. i'm fine with writing them as a couple though just be aware that on jay's side of things, it is not genuine. he is using her for his own gain, and ultimately sees her as disposable.
NINE: lastly, i know this might be a bit controversial, but i do have a dni although it only includes one person. do not interact with me if you also interact with kat- her current urls that i know of are scarfacewastaken / beerlady / savesthesouls / bloodiedhand. in 2018, kat tried to create a witchhunt against me because i didn't want to write with her in which she accused me of sending anonhate & trying to bait someone into suicide. she created two different hateblogs about me, threatened me with violence, and purposefully misgendered me. i have proof of all of these claims if you want to see it. she has never apologized nor admitted any fault so despite the time gone by, i do not feel comfortable interacting with mutuals of hers.
