My other entry for adventuresinpixels' asylum challenge, since the other guy who was supposed to join dropped out, I stepped in to help out!
 Sheâs also a main character in a possible picture series called âIvory Complexâ that I wanna start with Olivia Ivory Brandywine. (Get it?)
âWhy must that Olivia have to be so dang perfect? Why must everyone have to love her so much. WhyâŠwhy canât I be her?â
Cynthia had known Olivia for a few, and during that time, she quickly learned of her legendary reputation. She wouldnât call them friends since they barely know each other, but she figured she was too popular to want hang out with her anyway. Olivia was perfect in Cynthiaâs eyes. She talked perfectly, she acted perfectly, she look perfect, and her painting skills were beyond perfect! Cynthia has extremely low self esteem, meaning she feels like she canât do anything, and she felt like everyone was better at her at everything she tries.
Except painting. Painting was the only thing since she was a child she felt that she has any talent in. Without it, she felt useless and idiotic. So when Cynthia took a look at one of Oliviaâs first painting she ever made,and that it was leaps and bounds better that anything she could ever make, she broke down. She cried, and a,most gave up painting, knowing that she could never make anything like that. This especially depressed her since her lifeâs goal was to be a famous painterâŠwhich was a life that Olivia was living.
Olivia was living the life Cynthia always wanted to a T!
She feared that sheâs had to have her talent in order to be famous in which this was something she just didnât have. She knew she was insanely jealous of her..but at the same time, like all her other fans, she wanted her to notice her.
As Olivia famous painting became nationwide, her many fans flocked to buy them and place them in their houses. She just couldnât believe that she met someone living her life;s dream, that she didnât know how to take it. Hearing the praise Olivia getting the mass amount of raise, made her think about what would happen if she was Olivia. And Cynthia decided that life would be better if she was as pretty, talented, and well-loved like Olivia than her old talentless self.
She would cry herself to sleep every night wishing that she could be Olivia and that she could have a bit talent she has, and every time Cynthia sees the many beautiful works of Oliviaâs muse. (More on that when her bio comes out.) Sheâs get so depressed, crawls up into the bed and cries, still wishing she was Olivia.
This lasted for months, and her friends thought that her behavior was beyond unhealthy.They tried therapy, but they decided that she was beyond that kind of helpâŠwhich is why they sent her here to get her back to normal. Sheâs so obsessed with wanting to be Olivia, that she forgot what makes her special in the first place.
