Incoherence is funny. Tsurumaru does not care if being so would be an unfunny joke to others or the makings of an awkward conversation with people. He’ll be so because its funny to him.
“Too skinny? Look here, look at my arms. It is clearly made of bone, and bone is strong, therefore I am in perfect condition the way I am.” Tsurumaru commented in a tone and manner and logic where it is hard to gauge whether he is serious or not. “Unlike Naga-son, who is just flesh and more flesh which are soft.”
Did Tsurumaru always rambled that much? At some point, Kaori stopped listening half of the things the toudanshis talked about. “ Tsurumaru-san... Bone break quite easily, and I’m afraid a wrong turn of wind could break you in half. ” Wind? Not even that, she could snap the sword pretty easily for how skinny he was.
The girl sighed. It always seemed pointless to discuss anything with Tsurumaru, he was always joking and never taking anything seriously. Kaori could feel the energy leave her body with each word they exchanged.
“ Okay, okay. But take care of your health. ” ends up replying dryly. It would take time for her to get used to Tsurumaru.
