when terushima first meets daishou, he's captivated by the latter's confidence and command over his emotions. shou is a lovely mix of smug grins, knowing glances, and practiced politeness, but he doesn't smile, laugh, or lose his composure nearly enough for teru's tastes, so he goes the extra mile to joke, flirt, and make a fool of himself to see shou break from his cool and collected ways. he knows he's in too deep when his heart goes all funny each time he thinks about seeing shou, so he (1/2)

pines away bc he thinks shou sees them as just friends ? but then a week later, they’re hanging out and laughing over some crazy story teru’s just told, and shou asks teru if he can kiss him ?? teru’s brain completely shuts down, and he gapes at shou for a few seconds before his stupid mouth blurts out a small, deadpan “no.” then he’s screaming internally because why ?? did he ??? just say that ???? in panic, teru’s body lurches forward, and he plants a hurried kiss on shou’s lips. when he (2/3)

pulls away, teru finds the smooth and articulate daishou suguru absolutely bewildered (but also relieved ?) with flushed cheeks and a slack mouth struggling to form words; when shou finally manages an exasperated “huh ???,” teru /loses it/ bc that may just be the single greatest reaction he’s ever seen ? through his giggles, teru grips shou’s hand and confesses in earnest, asking shou if he’ll kiss him again. shou is still so lost, but he absolutely smooches this silly boy.
