“Me too,” She whispered, leaning into his space. 

With a shaking hand he brushed her hair behind her ear and looked into her eyes.

“I want you,” he breathed, begging her to understand how much he was struggling to keep himself in tact.

“Then show me.” It was a challenge if there ever was one. The look in her eyes dared him to act on it, dared him to show her just how much.

“I can’t!” He spoke miserably, shaking his head and turning away from her. He didn’t know if he could keep looking at her and keep his resolve.

“Why not?!”

“Because you just…Because I…damn it Maya!”

“Why is it so hard for you to just accept it Josh? Why won’t you give in?” She shouted.

“What I feel for you, it’s not…” he struggled to find the words to explain it all.

“It’s not what?” She kept pushing.

“I don’t want to hurt you-”

“Then don’t” She stated matter of factly, cutting him short.

I’ve always found it odd that men like sex but not unapologetically sexual women.

FIRST OF ALL

Meredith only said that the Hellhound and the Banshee are connected. She didn’t say anything about them being in love. This connection is purely circumstance, which probably explains why they have gotten closer over the last season since Lydia’s banshee powers were awakening which in turn probably had an effect on Parrish. They are connected because of what they are and NOT because of who they are. Don’t get it twisted.

Apparently someone in South Africa complained via twitter that all of the models in the print marketing within the store were white - and that they needed to do better. They responded saying …well we work with marketing professionals and the intent of our advertising is to display a positive image. O_o

I’ve lived in Denver my entire life, I’ve wandered up and down Broadway for years now. Even with all the racial shootings, and police brutality stories I’ve felt pretty safe in my hometown until this weekend. I want to share what happened to me because I don’t want crimes like these to go unnoticed. Hopefully by me sharing this, and friends sharing this post it will make some sort of an impact in our community. On Friday night around 2am, two friends and I were sitting on the curb when two white men came up to us and asked us “Tell me something about black people?” That alone was confusing and annoying. We get up and tell them to get out of our faces and to leave us alone, they called us niggers, and that’s the last thing I remember before getting up with a handful of blood spewing from my bottom lip. We called the police and they came with the ambulance. The ambulance took me to the ER where I got three stitches inside my lip. The police didn’t do a report at the scene of the crime because we had “too much attitude”. It wasn’t until today that I got to speak to an officer about what happened and now detectives are looking at street cameras for footage. So as of now, no, he is not in jail. But I am praying we get some sort of footage with their faces on it. This was the scariest thing to ever happen to me and it still feels very surreal to me. I’m saddened and outraged by this but I’m hoping something good can come from this.
