There’s not a lot of people that make her happy, but Nill is definitely a positive force in her life. Nill is a pure soul that she can protect and feel good for doing so, and also an excellent friend to her.

Believe it or not, Naoto wasn’t raised with a wealth of positive role models to look up to. She despised her master, Murato Fuyumine, for a majority of their time together, and after that she was forced to carve out her own path for herself. She may have come to admire Murato a little bit, but Naoto has no “idols” in her life.

She’s got her forehead pressed against the bar, so the phrase is almost lost on her. But, somewhere in her stupor, she hears the discouraging words, and Naoto raises her hand in the air. "Look. I dunno about you, but I’m seein’ this through to th’ bitter end. I’m not losin’ to that asshole, m’kay?" An unsteady hand points in the direction of their fellow blue-haired bouncer, whom they had childishly joined in a drinking competition.

"So you take the the next shot. I’m just gonna…take a nap…" Aaaand she’s out of it. Tomorrow morning, whoever started the whole ordeal is likely going to get a phone call from an irate and hungover swordsman.

No, actually, she’s not. She blanked out after the third sentence or so. Or, to be more accurate, she fell asleep. Long night at the club, not like she could help it. But as soon as he speaks she jerks awake, blinking rapidly.

Her scar. It’s not really embarrassing to her, per se, but it’s something she’s intent on hiding from those around her if she can help it.

There’s a growing list, but Campanella Frühling takes the cake. For a number of spoiler-y reasons, Naoto’s most basic drive is her demise. I can’t really expand on this without going into major Dogs spoilers, but just know that one of Naoto’s few personal desires is to see Campanella Frühling dead.

Sweet treats. Sour ones make her mouth feel funny, but maybe that’s just her being strange.

Ehhhh yeah, kind of. She doesn’t really expect anyone to be loyal to her, though. Back in her home city, nobody was really loyal to anybody, so it’s a concept that’s up in the air most of the time for her. In short, you could say she appreciates the sentiment, but it doesn’t mean much to her in the long run.

Winter. She likes to keep covered up, if at all possible, so cold weather is her ideal environment. Plus, snow is pretty and stuff.

Naoto’s not really a music-listener, to be honest. She always seems to have something better to do than sit around and listen to tunes. She enjoys some piano pieces, though, and energized workout music is always good to have when she’s training.

Praise Schmaise. It’s not that she could care less, but more that it’s just kind of…lost on her. She’s not necessarily proud of her skills, nor is she ashamed of them, so when she’s praised she reacts with a nod and a programmed “Thank you”.

Afraid of? Hah. That’s an easy one. Herself. She has no idea who or what she is, and her own body doesn’t even really belong to her. Her very existence is the great unknown of her life, and that really scares her, to be quite honest. A lot of the time it even keeps her up at night.
