I can’t believe there are actually people who defend the view that not everyone identifies as human and it’s their right to identify as a god damn unicorn or something.
This is what happens when ultra accepting holier than thou white liberals decide to humor an absolutely stupid view in the name of “tolerance”. The thought that you are somehow even more different than everyone else by not even being the same species as them is fucking laughable, any scientist would laugh at you if you told them that you don’t identify as human.
Reblogging for commentary. This is akin to the whole ‘gender identity’ crowd on tumblr. Humans are born with certain sexual organs and it is important to understand that the anatomy one possesses and the anatomy that one wishes to possess are mutually exclusive.
I don’t care what biological makeup provides a physical body, you should not IDENTIFY with ANYTHING. Once you have identified with something, you’ve already limited yourself. An enlightened man is not identified with any singular thing; he experiences all there is. Identification is a fool’s drug to pacify and overshadow oneself for the sake of living “normal” existence in a world that categorizes everything in a Cartesian manner. When your consciousness experiences unboundedness, you will find it laughable to even consider yourself one single human.
So you cannot comprehend how someone may not identify as being human - this is your shortcoming, not theirs. Biology and science will NEVER touch upon the active imagination. There are things beyond rational understanding; there is still and always will be an unknown that science will never grasp. Accept it and stop trying to box things up so they look nice and rational.

It’s simply the word “identification” that I have a problem with. Being something is fine, identifying with that being is limiting.

Don’t throw your god damn psuedo spirituality at me. You know as well as I do that everyone using a computer and able to think of a word such as otherkin or martian is a human and therefore identifying themselves otherwise is just feeding into a delusion of their own self perception.
You are willing to throw out 500 years of intense scientific discovery in order to fulfill a delusion, perpetrated in the overzealous “tolerant” crowd that we are not all of the same species. Get over it, all your friends, family, acquaintances, pop culture stars, politicians, kings, popes and homeless men lying in your streets are all human. If you think that it is only cold rationality behind that (Which should be enough) you are failing to acknowledge the inherent beauty in the idea that there are 6 billion vastly different people on this planet, and at the very core we are all the same, the brotherhood of humanity.
