She was tired, yet she refused to let her body feel it. Her needs were the last thing she wanted to worry about.Getting her Grandmother home. That was the only thing she was concerned with. The only thing she cared about. She was being stubborn, she knew that, but she didn’t know how else to deal with this situation. They couldn’t admit her Gran into permanent care without her consent, yet they wouldn’t release the woman into Lacy’s care. Eventually, her mind would come back to her though, and the doctors would run out of reasons to keep the old woman. This episode was lasting longer than Lacy had witnessed, and that did scare her, but she refused to let thoughts that maybe this was it enter her mind. Her Gran would be okay. She had to believe that.
