just gone done reading the wiki of zandarkand, sin, aeons, and all that - and x's story was way more crazy than i remember. i think i was too young to understand the deeper details ( i love vii and ix dearly but their stories were easier for me to understand in my youth ) and i admit i have never dealt with change well - so the transition to voice acting i remember was extremely unnerving for me since i was used to reading and i was very much a little critic about it. i remember not liking tidus's voice but honestly it's not that bad at all. srsly i think little me just liked things to stay the same ( i had a LOT of resistance to LoZ since OoT was my favorite and MM was made with flipped assets - the style of Wind Waker was totally jarring and I missed out on a great game being a stubborn shit haha )

i'm fairly sure rikku was creepily sexualized in x but not so much in x2 despite wearing a swimsuit as casual clothes but you know what when i was a teen and i was in THE SOUTHERN HEAT i too only wanted to wear a swimsuit top and shorts so honestly i feel rikku's aes on a personal level.
