Day by Day many teenagers, children, oldies, girls, boys and many other people engage in social media. As generations goes by, we get closer and closer to technology, mostly the new generation of people. Having grown up in a world entirely connected by the internet and mobile devices with 24/7 access, so there is no surprise that we Gen Z is a social generation because in our generation the technology started to bloom, developed and more modern than the early years.
We all know that social media is very much useful for everyone, in terms of staying updated and connected with our families, friends, colleagues and everyone around the world, also gathering and seeking information easily and disseminating it effectively.
Social media affects us in a way that sometimes we are so preoccupied with utilizing it that we forget to eat our meals. It also affected us in the sense that we prefer using social media than doing activities and physically engaging with the people around us. We watch and read unpleasant things on social media and have seen pleasant things. Social media is a great influence to the people, it can brainwash. However social media does not only destroy you but also it can help you. It can give happiness and it will give joy to you. It can help you overcome emotional symptoms. The Social media is a powerful media that can cause us to commit suicide and lead us to a sorrow. Children, adults, elder become addicted to social media, but often the adult age 18-23 become depressed, and that’s the effect of social media as a Gen z individual. In any case, people are trying their best to control themselves by using Social media by putting a time limit.
