I like America and America likes me

In may 1974 German gallery owner René Block opened his new premises in the USA with Beuys´s action I like America and America likes me. Beuys arrived in New York and was immediately taken from the airport to the new gallery on West Broadway, where he spent several days with a coyote he called little John-deliberately ignoring all the rest of the city and the country.
