sofia felt like she had fallen down a rabbit hole. this was a whole new world, for her. the house, the cameras ——- hell, even the weather. jeez, and she thought new york was cold. wrapped up in her duvet, she’d taken the opportunity to slip out of the mansion and past the cameras, curled up poolside under the stars. nursing some fancy bottle of red wine, sofia hadn’t expect to be disturbed; jumping and letting out a small yelp, when she heard the creaking of the pool gate behind her. a breathy laugh fell from her lips, and she held up her hands in surrender, teasingly.  “ got me. ”  she admitted, although she wasn’t hard to spook. especially not jet-lagged and half way through a bottle of wine. 

Gabriela knew the blind spots, oh she knew them well. Maintaining her semblance of privacy was important in the business she threw herself in. Spots like these made it easy to have conversations she wanted nobody to know about or do activities that people considered ‘illicit’. Most days, she saw people as chess pieces to play with, selfishly thinking what she could get from them.  Considering the time of the day, she was a bit surprised to discover she had company. But she’d make the best of the situation, regardless. “Whoops. Sorry about that, babe. Thought I wasn’t going to see such a beautiful image today,” Gabriela cooed out in greeting, adjusting the hem of her leather jacket, purposely taking a moment’s pause. “But then I saw that bottle of wine. Anyway, you got a name to go with that face?”
