When I played Rune Factory, I specifically remember having a hard time deciding who to marry because I loved all the girls! Eventually I decided on Sharron because I will never be able to wed a ghost in real life, so why not?

I really love how chill the Harvest Moon fandom is. Nobody plays under the impression that this game series is anything other than a farming otome game. Nobody gets in fights over discourse or shipping, we’re all just here to harvest pixelated tomatoes and look at fanart of our country bumpkin waifus

I miss the rival marriages, and I think it would be so neat if they optionally reimplemented it in such a way that lets the player choose who they think would be good together. Sort of like the support system in Fire Emblem! That way, people that like rival marriages can put together whoever they wanted, and people that didn’t like rival marriages wouldn’t have to have them at all.

I would love nothing more than a 3DS remake of More/Friends of Mineral Town and DS/DS Cute, perhaps even in combination so you can visit both towns. As far as HM games go, they’re my absolute favorites and are so classic and charming. There’s just enough challenge and the right amount of NPC stories - dare I say the two most perfect Harvest Moon games of the entire franchise.

I’ve been playing harvest moon since I was 13 years old, and now I’m 27. Harvest moon helped me get through some of the hardest times in my life when I just needed to get away from reality and unwind. Without it keeping me calm, I truly wonder where I’d be today. It’s always been my favorite game, and always will be.
