Story of Seasons/Rune Factory Dual Anniversary Live Stream Announced
A special broadcast totaling over 2 hours has been announced for the celebration of the dual anniversaries of Rune Factory's 20th and Story of Seasons' 30th on the 24th of August at 8 PM JST.
The broadcast will go over 2 hours long and cover the series history, feature special guests, finally show off the character popularity polls winners, the Japanese memories contest, variety-show style segments that viewers can participate in, and new information on the series.
For ease of viewership, I've converted the start-time to a variety of timezones:

Today’s the 30th anniversary of Story of Seasons! One of my all time favorite game series everrrr~
I drew this up in March and have been very impatient to post it! >w<
These games have been really special to me. I remember being 9 and cutting the illustrations out of my “More Friends of Mineral Town” game guide, and gluing them into my own hand-made booklet (loose printer paper, saddle-stapled together). I was using it to keeping track of game info like villager birthdays, favorite items, recipes, etc… the collector in me cringes, thinking of cutting up that old guide to make arts and crafts, but man that journal was the first of maaany creative projects these games inspired me to take on.
Over the years these games have brought a lot of comfort and fun, and they’ve seen me through both good and bad times. I’ve joined communities and built friendships because of ‘em. Bokumono let’s be in our fucking 30s together yay yippee 🐶
(JP) Story of Seasons 30th Anniversary "Memory Contest" Announced
While we're still waiting to see the results of the big popularity poll, Marvelous has announced another part of their anniversary celebration: A "Memory Contest," featuring Illustration, Photo, and Video categories for both Story of Seasons and Rune Factory, with three winners in each category. The Story of Seasons winners will each receive a "Golden Watering Can" trophy, and Rune Factory winners will receive a "Golden Turnip." Artwork is submitted via Google Form or Twitter post. Obviously, AI is prohibited.
The deadline is June 30, 2026 (Tue) at 23:59, JST. The contest is only open to residents of Japan. We hope that other international branches of Marvelous will open their own contests soon. For now, we can at least look forward to seeing all kinds of fun new artworks from the JP side of the fanbase soon!
