devastating headcanon? seth and roman (the characters, not the wrestlers, i know that's confusing) hit those moves as some kind of muscle memory associated with their former shield member, dean.

think about it, the shield was supposed to be this mercenary-esque faction, it'd make sense the characters would know each other's signature moves. so when seth hit the lunatic lariat, it's because he was calculating in that moment what would dean do as to not fall. same with roman hitting dirty deeds as a counter to seth's pedigree.

so if irl, it's a tribute to dean. in the story, it's two brothers remembering theres supposed to be three of them
