I wanted to convey the otherworldly nature of what was unfolding—the unnatural structure and the unnatural events that wounded the heart of the Chief Librarian, as well as my own. I actually wept at that point in the book. I am glad the author portrayed Lord Mephiston so authentically; no one else has managed to do that! In fact, all his books about the Blood Angels are rich in depth and charm. Thank you.

I've been putting off working on this illustration for a long time. I think it'll take meticulous effort, as it's based on my favorite book, not just Warhammer, but in general. Besides, it was with this book that I lost my Warhammer "virginity". But I'll say this: it's one of the few books (out of a very small number) that depicts Lord Mephiston as perfectly as possible. Moreover, the Russian translation adds even more depth, thanks to the rich language. (In fact, it was thanks to Mephiston himself that I got involved in this universe at all.) I don't know how important the text I'm writing here is. Drawing is getting harder, it's losing all meaning. I waited eight months for summer, and now it's here, and now it's hot, impossible to do anything, but I'm glad for the heat and the sun, and also for my body to burn in it, because soon there will be another long, cold winter. That's completely irrelevant. As for the art, I just love Warhammer. I still do, perhaps.

I haven't watched this anime myself, maybe just a couple of episodes. The art is good, but I'm not much of a fan of violent anime. I prefer creepy manga or socio-psychological manga.

A gift for my wife for Victoria Day. The art is based on a beautiful story where opposites are drawn to each other and form a beautiful, complementary union. Warsmith and ship captain Dominica White. Stolen from a Word Bearers ship, the captain managed to steal the heart of an old Iron Warrior. She quickly fell in love with the new ship and masterfully navigates it.
