DA3 in the works confirmed.

Just saw this thread on LJ and followed the link here.
Thanks to some BioWare tweeting, we now know that Dragon Age 3 is under development.
BioWare has confirmed the development of Dragon Age 3, though in the worst way. While you’d hope BioWare would at least first announce the game through a press release or interview that provides some kind of information, instead we have a 140-character tweet to thank.
BioWare’s senior director of creative development Alistair McNally sent out a tweet hoping to recruit 3D artists to come work at BioWare Edmonton. A hashtag within the tweet kind of hints that the artist would be helping out on Dragon Age 3.

Looks like one of BioWare’s Lead Artists posted on twitter last night asking if there’s any talented environment artists out there who would want to work on Dragon Age 3(using the hashtag #DragonAge3) at their Edmonton, Canada office.
Very interesting. Looks like the artist accidentally leaked DA3. Major WHOOPS!
It is done.

Valve Will Not Be Attending E3
That’s right! Valve has confirmed they are not showing any new titles at this year’s E3, therefore they will not be attending E3.
Here’s the official press release:
“Hi,
Lots of folks have mailed asking about appointment times, etc., with Valve.Â
Well, we are not showing any titles at this year’s show. So no appointment is needed.
Thanks”

Play Portal for Homework!
At Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, there is a mandatory class you have to take called “Enduring Questions” if you’re a freshman. The syllabus includes Gilgamesh, Aristotle, Goffman, Donne, and Portal. The class is taught by Michael Abbott aka The Brainy Gamer.
Here’s a little piece from Giant Bomb written by Patrick Klepek:
“When it came time to talk about the experience, there were surprising responses. Who didn’t want to know the fate of Chell at the end of Portal, before we knew she was dragged away? As it turns out, a number of Abbott’s students never managed to figure out they were playing as a defined character. They never discovered Chell, so when it came time to talk about their own feelings playing the game, it varied. Some identified as Chell, hoping to escape this bizarre, sadistic facility. Others figured they were escaping. The breakdown was roughly one-third identifying as Chell, the rest never bonding with the character.”

Probably one of the most emotionally moving parts of Pokemon Black and White was entering N’s room.
For any of you individuals who are not part of the Pokemon fandom, N is determined to be around the age of 17. He is the king of Team Plasma, the villainous team of BW, and is seen as a very “dark” person. He is mature, and keeps a cool head.
When entering his room, the first thing I said was..
Oh.
Remember, this kid spent his entire childhood locked up in a castle playing with injured Pokemon, which is why he is so emotionally attached to them. His father didn’t give a damn about him. The only reason N was in existence was so he would be able to gain world domination. He was never raised, so in heart, he really is just a pure, innocent, child. This room explains it. The fact that he stored all of his childhood so clearly in this room..It’s almost depressing really. I could almost imagine his younger self..And even his older self, playing with that train set in that room. It is almost nostalgic for me, since I myself do keep my past in my pocket. It was a very relatable element in BW, and this is something that most Pokemon games lack. It was a good idea to add that area in the game, so applause to Game Freak.
