Can I just say your blog is a thing of beauty! I’m almost ashamed to admit I’ve just scrolled back over a year through your feed, but there’s something so innately beautiful about the way it glides through the seasons so effortlessly like you are the seasons themselves.
The artwork, the imagery, your own photographs (which are incredible, by the way, please tell me your secret/recipes for shooting Fuji so beautifully) it all feels so cohesive and alive.
The mix of nature, art, soft bodies and intimate moments against the harshness of rope, and don’t even get me started on your own body, your blog feels like earth and nature itself combined. There’s something raw, grounded, and completely hypnotic about it.
That was an incredibly sweet and poetic hug and a kiss. Wow. ❤️ I'm always hoping that people would settle in and browse as far as you did. As much as I dislike feeling seen, I sure got high off of your message.
As far as shooting with Fuji, I'm ALWAYS trying new "recipes" on that system. It's a sickness. But, last year, I was mainly shooting with these settings on the XT4:
Classic Negative, Grain Effect: Weak/Small, Color Chrome Effect - Strong, Color Chrome FX Blue - Weak, White Balance - Auto R:4 B:-5, Dynamic Range: 400 (keep your ISO dial at 640 to take advantage of that setting), Tone Curve - Highlights: -2, Shadows: -0.5, Color: +2
Always in manual mode, so every day is a different setting, and when I'm shooting in the garden, it's around 6-8pm for that delicious evening lighting.
And the lens that I most often use is the 35mm F2.
Sorry if that wasn't the level of detail you wanted to read through... What camera do you use?
