The mermaid was miniature in size. Despite being a full grown woman she didn't have the chibi look associated with someone of her size. She blinked her bright eyes at him as she clung to the edge of the broken jar she was in.

"Argh" grumbled the scientist as he floated around his lab collecting and dropping in chemicals into flashs and test tubes. He grabbed the small mermaid hanging on the broken jar and quickly transported her to a small flash which had some warm water and dropped her in.

"There we go, now you'll be safe."
