This is my album cover. I made this with my busted old iPhone using the free “Pic Collage” app, it took me longer than it looks like it should've taken. Ultimately, I’m proud of it because it is creative, spontaneous, and it was fun making it.

This is my album cover. I made this with my busted old iPhone using the free “Pic Collage” app, it took me longer than it looks like it should've taken. Ultimately, I’m proud of it because it is creative, spontaneous, and it was fun making it.
The first time that I listened to the artist known as Felly I gravitated towards his sound and immediately needed to binge-listen to all of his work. That’s how I came to find the upbeat and sonically pleasing song “Chicago Nights”. With lyrics that flow off of his tongue like the electricity flowing through a circuit, Felly separates his verses with an autotuned chorus that will stick in your brain.
I like this song because it has a sonically pleasing instrumental and catchy lyrics I chose this song to be the first because it sets the mood for rest of the rest of the album. I chose to include this song because Felly is currently my favorite artist and listening to it brings back
I recently got to take a picture with Felly at his show in Charleston. He is a really nice man and is truly humble.
I chose this song because it reminds me of the first concert I ever went to, the “SCAD Alumni Concert” in celebration of the class of 2015. I went to see Moon Taxi and the Dirty Heads free of charge alongside my older brother. He and I have always been very close, and one way we bonded was through music. This night was also significant because he was going to college at the end of the summer, which was something that I would get emotional about. We secured a front row spot and listened to the music that elevated us. We so elevated by the end of the concert that we had trouble finding where we parked in the dim lit downtown area.
Too Many by Russ is another rap song with a catchy chorus, hard-hitting beat, and bodacious lyrics laid out with preciseness. I chose to include this song because I had the privilege of seeing Russ at Bonnaroo before he was selling out arenas. Although it was before he was really mainstream, he put together one of the best performances there and worked the crowd like a puppeteer.
This is is one of my favorite bands because they only make good songs. Like other artists on this compilation, I only discovered these guys because their name stood out to me on Bonnaroo 2017′s lineup. They only had two songs on Spotify and “Cardinal” wasn't one of them. They played on the smallest stage at the festival but easily made my must-watch list. Listening to this song takes me back to being front row and hearing that melodic whistle for the first time ever.
I chose to include this song because it reminds me of the insane experience of seeing Travis Scott live at Bonnaroo. His songs, including “Antidote”, are mostly fast-paced an upbeat. His energy levels on stage were through the roof, going harder than any artist that I have ever witnessed. He pointed to three spots in the crowd and demanded his fans to spread out for the opening of mosh pits, with the first location directly where my friends and I were located. As he called for his spectators to match his energy levels, we made the decision to slip out through the back and watch the rest of his performance from somewhere a little more peaceful. Every time I hear this song I am reminded of this experience and honestly, it makes me feel a little bit like a wimp.
None of these are the performance that was at, but they do demonstrate the energy levels of Travis Scott’s shows. Unforgettable!
I chose this song because when I listen to it, it takes me back to a really fun weekend I had towards my senior year. I got to go from grad bash at Universal in Orlando with all of my school friends straight to the Welcome to Rockville Festival located in Jacksonville the next day with my brother and dad. I got no sleep but it was well worth spending time with my family dudes. This band makes songs that sound like they should be coming from the seventies, but they are actually all between twenty-two and nineteen. I find that really interesting as well as impressive and still remember the shock I felt when I saw them live. Every time I hear one of their songs I am still reminded of how I felt when I finally paired the band’s appearance to their sound.
In this video, Greta Van Fleet is performing “Flower Power”. You can observe how young the members look and compare it to their old school sound.
I don’t ever wanna go to sleep, I just wanna keep on grooving

P.P.P.P. is a band that I was unfamiliar with until I noticed they were on the 2018 Bonnaroo lineup. Their sound is unique and vibes really well at a place like Bonnaroo. This song in particular sounds like it could be the official Bonnaroo anthem because its lyrics relate to how people spend their time at the music festival. This song was playing in the back of my head all for all four of the nights I was there, which helped me to keep on grooving when I thought I could groove no longer. Now when I hear this song I think about the eight days that I have spent at Roo, as well as who I spent them with. And next June when I’m at the festival I am for sure going to need to listen to this song so I can groove until sunrise.
I chose this song because it brings me to one of my all-time favorite experiences. This song reminds me of seeing Chance at Bonnaroo while he was on his Magnificent Colouring World Tour. The show was awe-inspiring, visually stunning, and made me feel every possible emotion in a matter of maybe an hour and a half. The entire audience was connected as Chance the Rapper turned a rap concert into a religious experience.
