thinking about eddie not being the one to make the move with shannon makes me feel even more like he needs to be the one to make the move with buck. something about the thing you need falling in your lap so young that once it’s gone you’re left desperately waiting for it to happen again, terrified to make any decisions because you didnt need to the first time. and that was everything. so if you can do it once by just letting it happen you should be able to do it again. right?
