nah my heart was in my ass there when the car was still rolling w him in it and the flames were almost in the seat
once again I am as insane about charles as the next person and once again i am saying carlos earned this of his own accord, it had nothing to do with ferrari fucking charles over in his favor. ferrari tried to compromise carlos’ race in charles’ favor like three times today, but carlos knows when to listen and when to make decisions on his own
when carlos is too nice and a team player people say he's a carpet, when he rebels against stupid ferrari strategy he's a bad teammate. go f yourself

I think the thing that hurts the most is that Ferrari has proven that - when they want - they can make a winning strategy for one of their drivers.
They literally bent over backwards and sacrificed their best driver to ensure Sainz a win.
They forced Charles in a hopeless position where all he could do was be a good team player and defend. They KNEW that a Charles with fresh tyres would win. So they didn't give him fresh tyres. They KNEW that Charles would not betray his teammate like Sainz has no problem doing. They knew that - when put in a desperate position - Charles would choose the team over himself. He defended like a lion and ensured Sainz his first ever win. That was the team strategy for this GP.
Which is why Charles was so upset afterwards. It's not just that Ferrari messed up his race for the fifth time in a row. It's that they literally sacrificed him and it was not an accident, it was part of their backup plan.
Sainz won't defend Charles? Fine, then Charles will defend Sainz. In a damaged car and old tyres for good measure.
Imagine how much the realization must have hurt.
This makes Charles' missed easy wins even worse.
This is what makes the Tifosi and fans of the sport in general doubt Ferrari and lose trust in them.
We are losing a championship and we don't even know why.
They are sabotaging Charles every chance they get and we don't understand it.
Lol this is so ridiculous no one is betraying anyone or willfully sabotaging anyone
you ppl are reading too much fiction stop dramatizing something that doesn’t even exist
@landonorris: congrats World Champ, I got you, don’t cry @maxverstappen1

And Lando… What a season. WHAT. A. SEASON.
4 podiums, his best result in formula 1 finishing 2nd in Monza, his first front start in Austria and later his first pole position. Led laps for the first time in his F1 career.
Learnt what is it to fight for a victory (Sochi), defended against way quicker cars (Imola, Austria, Monza, etc), improved his race craft and tyre managemente. Also learnt to communicate better with his team (after Sochi), how to bounce back after frustration and disappointment (the deleted lap time in Imola), and fought through the field despite different problems and bad luck.
Finished 21 of 22 races (all but Hungary), finished in the points 20 of them (all but Spa and Hungary), made Q3 21 of 22 times this season (all but Zandvoort), consistently beat his very talented and experienced teammate, led the team during the whole season, kept P3 in the Championship for quite long.
He just turned 22. He’s still the 2nd youngest driver on the grid.
P6. 160 points. Always moving forwards.
Congrats Lando!
Carlos really seems to give the best hugs, huh?! 😅
Carlos' unboard after the race - he was sooo happy 😍❤️
"a smooth FUCKIN operator"
THE WAY MAX BURRIES HIS HEAD IN LANDO'S SHOULDER NO ONE TALK TO ME
