Alright so I was just going to go radio silence, but someone sent an anon to my friend asking about me so I'll just say this here instead.

I'm okay. I decided I needed distance from the situation because I ended up getting too invested. Left the fiesta up as an explanation of why everything else was archived.

This account is going to be an archive now.

I put my drawings on private, but if you'd like, I can make them public again. Respond to this post or send an ask on whether you'd prefer my drawings stay private, or if you'd rather have them public on my blog.

This is not an attempt to punish anyone or anything, it's just not fun for me to stay active on an account out of pettiness.

If you'd like to use my drawings as icons or make edits, you have my blanket permission to do that. Just don't do anything to profit off them.

Totally understand if you’d rather not post anymore although I’m sad about it - there’s so many unreasonable people in fandom and that whole mess really highlighted more than one variant. But yes would love to still be able to appreciate your posted art, I think your Sasuke is so beautiful and among my favourite renditions of him!

Nothing to be done about it! Sometimes the fun just lasts a little while, and also I unwittingly put myself in a spot where something was going to happen eventually. Live and learn!

I'm sorry this situation got so out of hand :(. That person is so manipulative, im not surprised by how they decided to put a victim-like spin on things when they said they wouldn't apologise. They literally brought up your name for no reason, they could at the very least take accountability for that. I understand why you'd want to get away from this fandom, wish you all the best with everything else you do 💙

hey! sorry for not answering this yesterday, but i told them and they updated their blog, if you weren't aware already.

they're fine, they're in their touching grass era and they wont be posting anymore on gaymersasuke afaik for obvious reasons. they're not affected by the whole circus but they're absolutely done with it, but irl all good. we went to see the rerelease of avatar (2009) in theatres and ate at the cheesecake factory last weekend 👌

Yeah! I'm not really keen to post my other accounts here, but at least I can tell you that I've been drawing in fandom for too many years to just stop. I'll be around!

I think you're making the right decision. This fandom is really going downhill. Instead of avoiding people you have a dislike for which is the normal thing to do, some are searching for contrived reasonings why some guy(gn) is actually problematic [this isn't about snow, but everyone else]. Doesn't matter if your accusations sorry suspicions are even correct or not, just make them public. I guess that's what happens, when you already made up your mind about someone, but want your dislike validated by other's, a little like a self-fulfilling prophecy. How else will you show others how morally upstanding you are, if you don't have people you can position underneath yourself. I wish you the best, and your beautiful art will surely be missed!

I don't even know why anyone would want to put themselves in the position of moral leader and savior in Tumblr, but I suppose every mind is a world. 🤣

And yes, part of my frustration at other people involved here is that they never stepped back, so I figured I should just follow my own advice.

It's sad all this situation discouraged you from being online when you're not even wrong. I'm not trying to guilt trip you, the unfairness of it and how bad you must have felt is just sad :(

Yup, won't be posting anymore! And don't worry, it's not so much that I felt bad, it actually got really entertaining when the gdoc got edited fjsahdaskd. Just tired physically and disappointed the next day.

My opinion about Snow also changed from "I can like their art even though I disagree personally" to "thats just your regular racist uncle."

I was already thinking of archiving the account before Mx. Kay brought me up (yes I saw that they don't intend to apologize for anything, not even surprised OR disappointed here), but involving myself just sealed the deal.

Anyway it's not that I felt bad personally? Like I didn't feel sad or anxious or Off, but man did saturday remind me I'm not a teenager anymore LMAO

In general, I don't want to stay involved in a community where I ended up putting myself against other people

That's the thing, they did that, and then after lording over someone's personal information publicly, they decided to say "it's so normal to do this, I literally never did anything wrong." Like what.

I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to people that consider that fanart to be a genuine verbal threat or adjacent, even if kay sasukechannel clearly didn't take it as so until it was convenient for them.

I only learned who Sasukechannel was yesterday. (I ended up blocking them just based off all the crap I've read) but to sum up what I've gathered in two days- they sound like a WHOPPING narcissist.

It was still meant as a threat. Anons here really trying to completely villainize sasukechannel (who's actions I neither defend or excuse) while trying to downplay cubur and snow's shit. Everyone's fucked in this situation. Vent on sasukechannel being toxic as long as Ace will allow for but stop slipping in little comments to make it sound like cubur and snow are 100% innocent.

This is what I'm saying, in this situation no one is in the right. Kay sasukechannel isn't right for looking for personal information; if they felt threatened by that fanart, they should've reported it like a normal person. You know, instead of saying "how is it wrong to look for someone's personal information (for absolutely no reason that may or may not be doxxing adjacent)?"

You added good commentary on the situation with snow. Too bad snow keeps making themself look worse. Someone asked them to listen with an open mind and tried explaining why ppl are offended (ya know, since snow keeps trying to play the 'i'm so confused, i'm from Russia, what is this all about???' card). And snow did the usual, shutting them down. But also this time dropped in comments about the Little Mermaid being black in the new movie and Naruto not having to be associated with Japan which 😬🙄. What the fuck.

At this point I just wish people would stop talking to snow because snow keeps spewing bullshit. It's hard to go "well let's give them the benefit of doubt since they're foreign" when snow's saying shit like that and requesting to just stay in their "russian echo chamber" where they claim no one knows about race or issues like this. Maybe don't be on public platforms then where your work/offensive words are accessible to people outside of russia?? 🤷‍♀️ I don't mean any of that in like a xenophobic way. I'm honestly perplexed at how someone just ignores anone trying to say why people in a diff country are pissed at them. Which, if snow were american instead and the ppl pissed weren't, I feel like no one would be accepting of snow's behavior. (I'd still be against them in that case too because the reactions have been trash.)

I woke up yesterday feeling like a normal person, and then saw Snow's little mermaid asks. I consider myself very reasonable, seeing the reasons Snow is being so stubborn, but she keeps putting her foot in her mouth like it's an Olympic sport.

Has anyone considered to start ignoring her at this point? Any more anons are just fanning the sad little clown honk flames
