headcanon that elves, much like dogs, have really expressive ears. like, when they’re threatened, they go back, when they’re excited, they perk up, etc.

so one day taako, kravitz, lup, and barry are on a double date, as they do. taako is off doin something, and lup is also off somewhere. listen man i don’t know the details, barold and krav are talking about their s/os and whatever. barry mentions that he hasn’t seen taako this happy in a long time. kravitz says something about how hard to read taako is and how he can never tell what he’s feeling. barry explains that elves have one obvious tell, their ears. he says that he can tell taako is happy, not just because spending over a century around someone creates that kind of synergy, but also because his ears keep perking up.

Y'all: oh she’s heterosexual. Fantasizing about being in a man’s position as a woman isn’t something lesbians have in common, let alone a widespread phenomenon among lesbians. She just, uh, is heterosexual.

Just because she didn’t want to be with that dude ( I forgot his name) and wants to be him, career wise, notariety wise, career wise, doesn’t mean that she is lesbian. Maybe she could be. She could be gay. She could also be bi. Or she could be straight. Maybe thatll be a storyline within the next season. But I don’t think that people calling her heterosexual is really a response to that particular scene.

I feel most people are saying she’s straight in response to the people that want Trish and Jess to be in a relationship, which is not fair. It’s erasing the fact that Trish and Jess can love eachother from the basis of it being sisterly or platonic. They were raised together and consider eachother sisters. Apparently, platonic love can’t be what they have because they are two females and they have to be in a relationship. Its basically saying that being an adopted sibling is not valid enough and that love in a platonic way can’t exost there.

Flash: effective blur over spliced footage with practical background effects to imply speed. Then sped up frames and blur.

Jessica Jones: blew animation budget on first 2 seconds of focussed blur, proceeds to layer a second take of Jessica overtop hyperblurred sped up footage of a guy just speedwalking so slowly that a light jog at normal speed can keep up with him.
