I've often wished that I was an extrovert (meaning gain energy from being around people), but while it's true I gain fulfillment, I must re-charge alone. I have felt that success was meant for extroverts - those who can tirelessly go from one event to the next and then go out and socialize even more afterwards. The last chapter of this book pointed out that all the world's leaders, introverts & extroverts, spent time alone & would not have been as successful had they not. So instead of feeling jealous of extroverts, I now feel grateful that I have a built in alarm system to tell me when it's time to retreat. This restoration project is a cooperative effort between Keep Pensacola Beautiful, FL Dept of Evironmental Protection, Southern Co & the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation. The purpose is to create habitat, slow shore erosion and to create runoff filtration (oysters filter up to 50 gallons of water a day).
