Lumi. The cold late winter of 2009. Three people's gladsome sighs and sights froze together under this name. A pseudonym for the feeling of the cold and being consumed by the dark, whilst at the same time representing the sweltering merger of their visions. A snowball fusion of retro indie pop with a hint of disco and a touch of nostalgic soundscapes. The breezy dark sound of winter covered with a warm glow for the anticipation for spring.
After playing many shows and festivals including at Rock A Field, Rock um Knuedler, Food for Your Senses, and at Den Atelier in the last year, and having their first single 'Cold Storm' reaching the top 20 in local charts. Lumi has now finally presented their debut album named 'Cycles' at Exit 07 on the 06.01.12!
