League of Legends:

Congratulations to Edward Gaming from China for winning the championship at the 2015 League of Legends Mid Season Invitational. Taking SK Telecom all the way to the 5th game, they were able to take down the number Korean team. It always feels good to see a Korean team go down, even though my team TSM couldn’t do it.

MSI League of Legends Tournament

So another rough day for TSM yesterday in the Day 2 of the Group Stage. SKT ended up going undefeated in the group stage. Although they almost got beat by AHQ and could have been a three way tie for 1st seed. AHQ was winning very hard in the game, but ended up making a couple extremely bad decisions. Like I always say, never give up in a game because one mistake from the other team can win you the game.

Standings after Day 2:

SKT: 5-0

EDG: 4-1

AHQ: 3-2

Fnatic: 2-3

TSM: 1-4

Besiktas: 0-5

Daily New Tech:

Yet another robot post. Meet Roboy, he is the beginning of a new age of robots and the way their structure is made. They use a 3D printing to make his bones and muscles. By doing this a robot can move much closer to that of a human and not be so limited to the robotic movements we’re used to seeing. 

I can’t wait to see them really make this guy move. Hopefully this doesn’t turn into iRobot or Skynet issue!

League of Legends:

Day one of the Mid Season Invitational Tournament began yesterday May 8, with a ton of great games. Sadly my team TSM came out 1-2 losing to Fnatic and SKT. The game against SKT was played very poorly in my opinion. TSM were not playing themselves at all. 

SK Telecom is the only undefeated team in the group stages at the moment as 3-0. 

Standings:

1. SKT 3-0

2. AHQ 2-1

3. EDG 1-1

4. Fnatic 1-1

5. TSM 1-2

6. Besiktas (International Wildcard Team) 0-3

I will post the Day 2 results after the last game.

So this isn’t exactly that new but I still think they’re really awesome. What I wouldn’t give to have this as my living room coffee table. This is a 100-inch touchscreen desk.

Angel Stone:

What do you guys think of this new game coming out for iOS, Android, and Facebook? Apparently you’ll be able to play with someone who is using a different operating system and device than you. I can be playing on my Galaxy S5 phone and my buddy could be playing on his computer. Definitely cool by my standards, but we’ll have to see how gameplay is before I make real stand on the game.

Say hello to K5 Robot. He is a security robot who patrols the floors of a building at Microsoft Silicone Valley campus. With his many cameras and sensors, he can detect all kinds of threats. He can also help people in dire need. For example, if someone was being chased by a bloodthirsty killer, {What?? You never know who could be chasing you!} they could run up to K5 and request a 911 emergency. The robot will then alert authorities. 

Its pretty cool to be living in the future and watching it grow faster and faster.

Counter Strike:GO News:

The Fragbite Masters is under way and they’re about halfway through the group stages. Group A consists of TSM, Team Dignitas, Natus Vincere, and Penta Sports. So far, Natus Vincere have come out the victors of Group A with a 2-1 victory over TSM. Yesterday Group B began playing. This group consists of EnvyUs, Neophyte, Flipsid3, and LGB Sports. The next match to be played in this group will consist of LGB Sports, who won their match 2-1 against Flipside3, and EnvyUs, who won their match 2-0 against Neophyte.

League Of Legends News:

According to an article I read on fragbite, Martin “Rekkles” Larsson might be returning to his original team FNatic. After struggling with his new team Elements in the recent League of Legends EU Spring Split, there has been evidence showing Erik “Tabzz” van Helvert returning to the AD carry position that Rekkles has been playing. Also the AD carry on FNatic will be leaving the team after the Mid Season Invitational tournament. I’m looking forward to seeing this next Summer Split.
