PiSugar S is a complete UPS with a continuous output capability of 5V 2A.
I picked up one of these to provide UPS power for my Raspberry Pi Zero 2 Inmarsat receiver project. I wanted an embedded Inmarsat receiver aboard S/V Mon Nég. So an RTL-SDR and Raspberry Pi seemed to be the perfect pair to start with.
Add a DC connector to your Raspberry Pi with this simple HAT that accepts voltages from 6V to 32V.
If you are wanting to power your Raspberry Pi Zero from random DC voltages up to 32 volts then this hat should work for you.
Today what I thought was a good friend, laughed at my religious beliefs. My grandfather always said - If you don’t have a good head you better have a good body. I always wonder if the body is still good if the head is removed? More to follow…
The north wind is howling. I am sitting at the fire with a hot cup and my family next to me. What a great way to start the year.
First piece of 2022. Odin.
Great work of art!
Today my prayer fire burns in honor of a friend’s son, now departed from this world.
Congratulations @mermaiddana on your purchase of a Compac 16. Hope your New Year is filled with fun sails and all your small boats projects go smoothly. Now to pick a name!
CQ, CQ, CQ. HamFests in the near future.
Small Craft Skills Group Trip Planning. Part of the Avery Island 200 circuit. Anyone game for an outing on the water?
Even though there was a cool misty breeze we had a blast. Always fun at the beach with MLB!
Transitioning back to an iPad Mini for Navionics. I think this will work out really well.
COVID struck again! These oil lamps are on perpetual back order :-(
My idea of a great boat tent. Hope those hoops breakdown into small pieces.
I’m rethinking my stove options for coastal exploration. I have both a Biolite and MSR DragonFly stove. Which I think is perfect for hot weather boat camping. But this little gem is teasing me. To get the benefit of heat for fall and winter boating would be a great bonus. Fuel for it is easily attainable on any beach, in the swamp and along the river/lake shores. But wow, the price. With a basic non enameled version going for $995 it would cost me more than I paid for my Drascombe Scaffie. Although, I do see a used one in my future. Check them out at shipmatestove.com
ShipMate Stove Company Inc. - your source for classic solid fuel boat stoves, heaters and sinks.
Watching a murmuration. Hearing the rushing of all the little wings is so cool. I drove along with a group of those little bird at a steady 35 mph. Unreal! Now the owls are hooting for me to continue thinking about beach camping and nothing else. Nothing else they say.
Have you checked the battery expiration dates on all your emergency gear and conducted test recently?
