That's pretty comprehensive.
In Celebration of Black History Month Christie (left), was the first Black doll in the Barbie range. She made her debut in 1968. Black Barbie (right) was launched in 1980. Christie and Black Barbie, we thank you for helping us to feel #PrettyPeriod!
I didn’t have her when I was a kid back in 1980. But as an adult I bought the remake of her and 18 black barbies. I also make sure to give Black dolls to Toys for Tots and any toy drives. Black dolls are crucial for little black girls.
A version for tumblr that can be read without opening a new tab, since plenty of people would scroll past this story otherwise.

Legendary Black women in film/television! Diahann Caroll (77), Cicely Tyson (79), Nichelle Nichols (80), Ruby Dee (90).

Representation matters. [x]
It matters for all races! Where are our role models?
I just want to say that this is why minority representation in the media matters. Mae Jemison was inspired to become an astronaut after watching Nichelle Nichols as Uhura on Star Trek.

The Swedes have come up with a new, sexless pronoun.
In Sweden, the gender-neutral pronoun “hen” is popular in queer, radical left, and feminist circles, because it allows you to describe a person without revealing their sex, a thing that they believe should have nothing to do with one's identity. #sweden #vice
Manuel Trevino, Michael Lomonaco, others in YouTube video urge people to sign teen's online petition calling on Hasbro to make one
Mary and Max. is about a 8 year old Australian girl that randomly befriends a 40 year old New York pen pal. Heartwarming and breathtaking skills of crafting!
I LOVE claymation! It has this raw detail that no computer graphics can mimic. You have no soul if Claymation isn’t your thing~
I stumbled upon Mary and Max. and fell madly in love with the film. It combines two of my favorites Clay Animation and Black Comedy.
Defiantly check it out THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!
