The Christchurch effect(name inspired by the Columbine effect)is the effect that the Christchurch shooting had on other shooters and far right ideology.
The Christchurch shooting,March 15th 2019.
On March 15th 2019 in Christchurch New Zealand,Brenton Harrison Tarrant opens fire in the Al-Noor mosque and Linwood islamic center killing 51 people and injuring 89.
The motivations of the attack were anti-immigration,white supremacy and 4chan jokes.
The thing that made this incident so special,besides the high kill count,was the fact that he livestreamed the attack on facebook.
While the attack inspired dozens of other attackers we will only be mentioning a few of them.

He was the first tarrantula(Brenton copycat)
Weeks before his shooting he tried burning down a mosque.
He tried shooting up a synagouge but his gun jammed and he only managed to kill ine klke.
Hes an og and white so he gets a pass.
Patrick Crusius A.K.A Chud
Perhaps the most famous person in this post.
In 2019,a few months after Brentons rampage he decided hes had enough of Latinos invading his beloved America and drives to El Paso,Texas where he shoots up a walmart killing 23 people.
He's the most succsesful tarrantula.
Payton Gendron
In May of 2022 this young man decides hes had enough of black people ruining his beloved America so he travels to Buffalo,New York and kills 10 people in a Tops supermarket.
Similiarly to his idol Brenton,Payton livestreamed his attack.
Hes beloved by many tccers for being cute and chubby,and racist.
Stephen Balliet
This german fella was inspired to livestream his attack on the Halle synagouge.
However his attack is infamous for being an utter and hilarious failure.He failed to enter the building due to a simple wooden door.
After that he killed a random german woman walking by,puncuring his own tires.He then kills a random german guy in a kebab shop.His guns also keep jamming due to the fact that he made the weapons himself.
Phillip Manshaus
This norwegian fella first shot his adopted chinese sister as she slept then tried livestreaming an attack on a mosque.
Only problem is that the mosque was mostly empty and despite that he still got subdued by 3 old men lol.
There is audio of the incident,sounds more like gay porn.
Hugo Jackson
A young man of Sri Lankan descent living in Sweden tried livestreaming a mass stabbing of his school.
His attacked only resulted in 1 injury,and a failed attempt at suicide by cop.
The livestream is lost media but there exist screenshots of it.
Juraj Krajčik
This Slovakian atheist was inspired by Brenton and Payton to carry out a shooting im his country.He was part of terrorgram groups.He wrote a 65 page manifesto(its alright) and prcedded to kill two fa**ots and a bartender in a gay bar.Then he went home,told his parents what he did(they didnt report him as they were raging homophobes aswell).
Afterwards he goes online before ending his life in a park.
Overall not bad.
Nathaniel Veltman
This Canadian gentleman was inspired by the likes of Breivik and Tarrant.
He decided to use his big ass truck to run over 4 terrorists(muslims incase youre dumb) and injure another(all 5 coming from the same family).
Hes a better version of Stepheb Balliet imo.
Solomon Henderson
Hes only here because i like him.
Solomon was a 17-year old black white supremacist who was insipred by Brenton,Payton and Krajčik to commit an attack on Antioch highschool.
While he only got 1 kill before blowing his brains out he is well known for being a rupnow simp snd having a truly hilarious manifesto.(dm for link,or just look it up).
He also had a digital diary for his days before the attack,much like Payton.

Hello Tumblr.. ive come to share with you some of my personal favorite things about johnny that ive noted. consider this your ascension from humble fan to true earnest follower. dont say youre og though m8 kek
1. In a warrant to search John's device usage shortly after Poway, it is revealed one of his aliases on Facebook was "John Toccatina", a reference to the commonly played song by beginners of piano by Dimitri Kabalevsky (Op. 27 No. 12). He states that this is his "lol name", likely referring to League of Legends (creds to one of my friends for pointing this out)
2. On the topic of piano melodies, his favorite song to play is Scherzo No. 2 by Choplin. He's actually played another Choplin song before, specifically "Fantaisie-Impromptu (Op. 66)".
3. Before Poway, buying a $963.41 firearm with his hunting license, he never once shot it untill he entered the synagogue. Maybe this is why his gun jammed...
4. Mentioned by someone who knew John at the high school he went to, John was studying at CSUSM (the university he attented) to become a ER nurse, as well as wanting to graduate with a biophysics major.
5. With his talent of the piano–first starting to play at the age of 4, he wont 3 different talent shows at Mt. Carmel high school, placing 2nd, 1st, and 3rd, respectively. The only song that is confirmed he played during one of these talent shows is a Pirates of The Caribbean medley.
6. He has 3 brothers and 2 sisters, almost all of them being roughly the same age as him.
7. John was on the varsity swim team at his highschool. Him, his brother James Earnest, and his sister Megan Earnest, volunteered as lifegaurds, too. His father, John A. Earnest, also works as one in the summer.
8. John's father outside of being a lifegaurd is an AP Physics teacher at the same highschool John attended. He's described as a warm, caring teacher who would frequently bring sweet treats such as cookies to his students. Additionally, he kept a study binder to help his class before exams. John A. Earnest also funded the HAM radio club at the highschool.
9. In another court document explaining the step-by-step situation of what happened before, during, and after the attack, John was described to have had a "'flat effect' as though he was detatched or unaffected by his actions". He also was deemed by others as feeling "no remorse" throughout the aftermath of the attack, noting the only instance of him somewhat feeling guilty was through a private phone call in jail, where he mentioned his actions were "innapropriate."
10. During high school, John's classmates considered him rather quiet, saying "Teachers would be taken aback upon hearing his voice for the first time." Along with this, he hardly studied in any of the 11 AP classes he took throughout highschool, a student at Mt. Carmel highschool saying the following;
"He was so incredibly smart that he took no notes in his AP Chemistry and AP Physics classes whilst listening to music, with both hands shoved into his jean pockets, and still managed to ace every exam and quiz with little effort."
