“Kanan. Forgive me.” Plo said fondly “It’s a good name, suits you.” They said, giving the young man a look over. “We have, though I am happy those on the old council haven’t been reinstated. The Order sorely needed a fresh start after everything.”
“no forgiveness necessary. thank you,” he responded with a small nod of his head. caleb had been important to him, but it wasn’t who he was now. kanan jarrus had done a lot of good for the galaxy, too. “oh?” the honesty made his brow rise. “i can’t say i disagree, but i’m surprised you feel the same way.”
Plo hummed for a moment “Yes, the war changed my opinion on many things.” They told Kanan. “While Mace and Yoda and the other councilors were wise, I believe the Order was growing stagnant.” They said with a sigh “I fear we had grown too dogmatic in our interpretation of the code.”
