[ HEY GUYS. REMEMBER ME? I HOPE SO BC I ONLY JUST LEFT THIS BLOG LIKE 2 DAYS AGO. LOL. Anyway so, I’m back. I made Zelgius a new blog with the same url (bc i feel that although it’s basic it’s like so iconic and i have so many memories with this url so fite me). Just a heads up tho my new Zelgy blog is SELECTIVE and PRIVATE so I will be picky with who I follow back and whatnot. I just want to feel GOOD when I come on the dash so yeah, I hope none of you takes offense to that. I HIGHLY PLEAD THAT YOU READ MY GUIDELINES because I updated things so yes good. [ Well guys, I never thought that this day would come, but my muse for Zelgius is basically all but gone nowadays. I can’t bring myself to write him and when I do it feels forced and as if I’m not doing him justice. I think the best course of action would be for me to leave this blog for awhile and see if that does anything for me. I don’t know how long I’ll be gone for, but I most surely WILL come back to this blog because I do still love Zelgius dearly. When I do return I’m afraid that I will be dropping ALL threads and starting fresh. I really apologize for that! We can always start new things. I also think I’ll be capping the amount of threads that I have going on when I return so that I don’t get overwhelmed. Anyway, if you guys still want to know where I am or thread with me you can find me on these blogs: dorkylawyer, buymeburgers, wronglycxnvicted, blackandbitter, & bloodthirstyflower.       “ Fear not, my dear, I have been watching out for myself for a rather long time. ” Niamh’s adorable smile never failed to put one of his own upon his features. She was an extremely kind-hearted woman, one who Zelgius trusted a lot. She always seemed to have the best intentions in mind for him and he was more than grateful. Despite this, the two of them had not spoken much about their pasts, but instead bonded over the fact that they were both Branded and had similar struggles.

The smallest of smiles twitches his lips up. Of course he’d respect his decision, despite his injured pride. This simply calls for more training, he thinks, come back in a few years and try again. Meeting Zelgius’ eyes once more, Leo uncrosses his arms, moving to put his mask on. 

That’s too bad. But maybe one day you’ll accept my challenge? 

He really shouldn’t even be asking, he should be going now to train. However, it seems one small part of him just won’t let it go.

      “ Hmmm, I don’t want to make any promises that I cannot keep so it’s a maybe, my good sir, although I do have to ask... why are you so adamant on challenging me to a fight? ” He recalled various opponents that he had faced before who trembled in fear before him and yet this courageous lad was more than willing to exchange blows with him.. why?

The downright rejection stings his pride. Pursing his lips, casting his glance aside, he has to reign himself in before he starts demanding why he wouldn’t fight. Perhaps it’s his earlier blunder, not enough confidence, or simply… He just doesn’t seem strong enough for Zelgius to bother with.

Of course I know who you are. General Zelgius of Begnion. And the Bla

Leo quickly erases that second sentence, nearly forgetting he’s nearby Begnion itself and not in the Outrealms. 

      Why did Zelgius reject the other man’s invitation to spar, indeed? Well, he did in fact deem the younger man to be weaker than he. Although he knew not to underestimate his opponent, Zelgius was a skilled fighter with many years of experience, and not to mention the general of the largest army of Tellius. There was, however, another reason and that was simply because he didn’t enjoy worthless battles and didn’t want to shed any unnecessary blood. It really wasn’t his style.

      “ I do apologize, mister, but I thank you for respecting my decision. ”

      He could have sworn that the other man had been writing something else, but he chose not to question him.

In an instant all of Leo’s embarrassment vanishes, instead annoyance takes its place. Crossing his arms, he lets out a slight huff as he continues writing in the air. 

These weapons aren’t for show, General. 

He’s more of a walking armory compared to Zelgius, really. A shortaxe and killing edge from Regna Ferox rest along his hip and back, and across from his axe, a Thoron tome. Perhaps in this spar, he will show his idol just what Dread Fighters can do…

      “ Of course they are not. I am well aware of what they are for. ” The knight remained calm and composed, not at all intimidated by his weapons nor his attitude. Instead, he merely let a subtle smile take over his features. “ But then again, I trust you know who I am? ” He shrugged his shoulders. “ Anyway, it matters not. I will have to decline. ”

His mind goes blank. Yes. What was it that he wanted? Leo finally succeeds in catching one of his idol’s attention and…. now he’s staring stupid awe at the man. 

With a flustered wave of his hand he quickly throws Spar me! into the air. 

Oh gods he hopes his face isn’t matching the general’s armor right now…

      “ You wish to spar me...? ” The question was said with much confusion as he rose his brows at the young man before him. “ You are not looking to die, are you? ” Even though sparring was meant to be a friendly fight danger was still present. He did not wish to hurt or kill an innocent person.
