It seems that everyone these days has a smartphone, this has made it easy for are generation and the generations to come minimize there actual human interaction more then anything before. One of the most download apps of the most recent years allows one to swipe through picture so people and choose based on looks who they want to talk too. Tinder is a worldwide app that lets people “swipe live” anywhere in the world they are in based on geographical location. Now, this app can be used for many different things, one could be looking for a new partner, new friends or maybe just someone to spend the night with and though some people don’t have the best intentions for the use of this app it still continues to lead in app downloads. Tinder has contributed to todays throwaway dating culture, people now are able to solely judge someone based on there uploaded pictures and a short conversation they had through this app without having to put in any work. Some people would say that this app has helped them pick up girls or guys a lot easier then before this app was created but what happened to meeting someone the organic way? It’s hard to tell if the person that you are talking to over social media is who they say they are.

Leo

After being nominated 6 times for an Oscar the day finally came in the 2016 Oscar awards where Leonardo DiCaprio won his first Academy Award for ‘The Revenant” It was a long time coming for Leo, we have seen him do some amazing work in his past films such as Wolf of Wall Street and The Great Gatsby. There was a lot of talking going around the general public and social media that the Academy was not letting Leo win an award because of something he had done to offend them a couple years back. Despite all this talk Leo finally received his Oscar and could not have been more humble about it. Over the years Leonardo has shown his talent and maturity in his acting and his everyday life as a role model for all up and coming stars.

It seems to be an age old rule that if you work in the corporate world it is wrong and frowned upon to have any visible tattoos whatsoever. As the generations grow up it’s clear that the old fashion way of thinking is changing. Anywhere you look these days whether it is on social media or on the street you will see kids with tattoos, it has become such a social trend to cover your body with your own personalized creative art that how could one be expected to not have any tattoos in the corporate world? Though these days there is a law that you cant discriminate against someone fore having tattoos in the work place we all know that that its just a way of thinking that the generations before us have engraved into their mind that no law would ever change. I can’t wait for the day that the millennials are at the top of the corporate world and all the generations younger then us have paved new pathways and open up our minds about things we couldn’t even imagine now .. I bet you tattoos wouldn’t look so bad then.
