Old Masters Series #8

This is Rembrant's Self Portrait.

I like the image - the very darks and how it's just light around the face and hands.

I started out with the same code base I did the one below, but I felt it needed something more to bring out the contrast between those dark areas and the light areas.  

I wrote some code to do this, but it is definitely a work in progress.

This image below is what I got when I just ran my normal generative code on it.

I've actually never heard of him before, but I really like his paintings.

I'm also trying a new method here of using squares.  I really like how this turned out.

I would consider this one a work in progress.  I like where it was starting to go, but maybe it feels a little too abstract.  It is hard to 'see' the original image here, which is one thing I wanted for these images.
