Exit, an album by Witchbrew on Spotify
Exit
1. Prime
âPrimeâ sounds like the N.E.R.D. song Bobby James, on that note it is one of the most textured and well put together pieces by Witchbrew in my opinion.
2. Bloom
âBloomâ has a musical style that Iâll easily say belongs to makes this artist feel like he is exclusive, that his songs are for a tiny and quaint audience with a strong boisterous opinion.
3. Reposing
âReposingâ sounds like a continuation of âBloomâ, if they were never divided they could be considered a 3 minute song. That being said, its only 1:04 seconds which may also give you a grasp of understanding how Witchbrew makes music, some of his songs may differ to the point that they could be considered different songs altogether, and yet, similar enough that it could be the precise song.
4. Halcyon
âHalcyonâ also sounds like it could have been an extension of bloom, yet is different enough that it stands on its own. It is the first to introduce more use of the keyboard and sounds like allegro, much happier than the previous two. More certain of the direction the album is going in.
Stirring, an album by Witchbrew on Spotify
1. The Climb
âThe Climbâ review: Easy and relaxing.
2. Perils
âPerilsâ feels very cool and at ease.
3. Never Found
âNever foundâ sounds like something that has been searched for and has never been found.

Witchbrew - Morning Tape
1. Harpy
âHarpyââs beginning is strong like an element is rising up throughout the atmosphere and has a bell sound in the background. A low vibrating percussion and sustained bass-line indicative of the artistâs evident guitar playing skills. The image that comes to mind towards the end is a child bending down in sand to pick up a sea shell as she dusts it off.Â
2. Floating
âFloatingâ has me feeling as if I am being wafted through a liquid substance to then arrive to the top and float among un still waters, less than calm the trap sounds tell me, irritated by my emergence the waters were forced to move in any other direction until stilling themselves surround me.Â
3. Rainy
âRainyâ is a melancholy song with glitchy properties that will make it one of the more unique tracks I have had the pleasure of listening to.
4. Call
âCallâ rhymes with the wall of a sanity that it had to be, a whale in the ocean sonar may travel so far as I reach out to my loved ones like an oceanic animal, the way this song is ornamented reminds me of the way ocean aquatic animals communicate. It really goes to show how alike we humans are like them, some of which are mammals. I love this song.
5. Gems
âGemsâ is about the precious ones who you love and hold dear to you. The ones I call to. My favorite moods of the song are after 1:20.
6. Gone
âGoneâ is the feeling of disappearance, synthesizing vanishes. Peace.
7. Aeromancy
âAeromancyâ is clearly about romance of the air. The romantic relationship that flying fish have with the air as they fling themselves out of the waters deep. Aeromancy has a cool beat, long chunky synths and has a bit of funk. I like it.
8. Molt
âMoltâ reminds me of lava flowing out of a volcanic eruption slowly and flowing down the side without traveling too far or harming anyone.
9. Surface
âSurfaceâ sounds like R&B or soul except really chill and dreamy. Xanax to a pharmacist, a sleeping pill to an insomniac, the surface of neptune to an astronaut, the name may be the touchpad to Microsoft. It is well produced.
10. Obscured
âObscuredâ has a reinforcing pattern that repeats and becomes more complex as the song goes on. Then you begin to hear sounds that sound like animals that exist for brief periods of time and are never known to human discovery in the ocean. Aliens.
11. Wonder
âWonderâ is about the awe of the moment, a cat to a sprinkle of glitter.
12. Glassy
âGlassyâ tubes, please do not break. Fragile, cool, unique, you may use, please put them back.
13. Shining
âShiningâ, a connection to the wonder.
14. Regress
âRegressâ, the decaying and undulating of man.
