I recently got accepted to Georgia State and I'm strongly considering enrolling Could you please answer the following questions? How is campus safety? How is campus dining? How are the dorms? Is it hard to get into the lofts? How is the rigour of the classes? Is it easy/hard meeting people? The dating scene?

In order: 1.Great. We have campus police + they contracted some guys on segways (you'll see em in yellow CCS uniforms) [btw check out the gsu wiki page on that]2. Commons rooms are great. Entering with groceries or friends are not. [Stepped up security means only one check-in entrance and its a turnstyle so groceries are a prob]. They let people in thru the parking garage on move in/out week but only with the key card. And I heard that you have a limited amount of visitors per semester but dont quote me. But there are ways to sneak ppl in once you learn how.3. Yes.4. Classes are harder than community college and HS... I'm not sure which you're coming from but if you're in the wrong major you'll know because the classes are harder.5. Easy meeting people, esp if you join a greek house/organization. Most people are approachable too [dont hesitate asking where things are]. I don't wanna say everyone on campus is nice but its customary to thank the bus driver when getting off the campus shuttle lol. There's tons to join and do tho. But once you make friends in one semester it'll be harder to stay in contact if you don't have the same schedule/housing.Just be careful of some of the athletes and greek houses. They have silver tongues and know it. 6. Dating scene depends on what you're into. The girls are fine as expensive wine and the ones with good grades (stay in past sophomore year) are very intelligent. The guys vary widely. Some are lazy, pretty boy, in denial moochers and others eclectic writers and musicians.

Spring 2012 Semester: Completed

Spring semester is done and, for now, so am I. I will be taking a hiatus until this fall because the Pell Grant no longer covers summer semesters. But do continue to submit your submissions!
