i've decided that in any other fantasy based au / setting zhongli possesses pointy elf-like ears but is still able to shift into his draconic form to varying degrees (be it mostly humanoid with horns and visible scales, possibly a tail, or full on dragon). this is with the exception of his witcher verse in which case he just appears as he does normally, just with a high ponytail (hyv robbed us of this) and the classic feline eyes.

re: morax in his corrupted form (which, for ease of distinction i'll continue to refer to as morax) vs the zhongli you all know.

in appearance, they certainly look identical at first glance, with both inherently still being split halves of the same god, but for morax the geo markings down his arms have proceeded to span to his torso, somewhat zig-zagging over his chest as a deepened sign of corruption. he's more monstrous as a sign of his sense of mortal guise fading and his lack of desire to upkeep this, save for the lack of horns he displays: you can see the draconic features like subtle scales across his cheekbones, spanning down to his torso, lengthened fangs and claws, his eyes appearing less their typical amber colour and more of a glowing red-orange.

behaviourally he's more bestial, animalistic, having grown ravenous from being sealed away for centuries, having his celestial powers sapped away in order to keep him restrained and in check. chronic physical pain is also a byproduct of this.
