i understand many many people would like to see jbenn retire and/or just not re-sign with the stars specifically even if just because everyone's thinking too much about the cap & one contract off the books is a little more money to spend on mav & robo etc etc etc. but i feel like realistically you can't Expect jbenn to leave while tyler's still under contract. because i do think tyler will not let him leave while they're both still able to run it back together. you know. i remember tyler mythologizing their joint history with this team by saying 'we have a great opportunity in front of us to prove a lot of people wrong' during the 2020 run. so on and so forth.
