getting married and having kids is my worst nightmare what about my lifeeeeee bc I know for a fact that once you become a wife and a mother that’s all you are for the rest of your damn life. if that’s your vibe then happy for you. but yeah they’ll be fine neither of them will probably even have to do anything with the baby

society wants you to think all you will be is a wife and a mother but in fact you are still your own person even with a child and you’ve got to not listen to the booming message that you are not your own person still. yes there are sacrifices to be made but when i have a kid you bet they’re being taken along with me to everywhere EYE want to go until they are independent enough to choose otherwise.

which is why although i struggle with noise sensitivity and kids can sometimes trigger that in public im super against childfree spaces. children are members of society too and the only way they learn how to be in society is to be in society, and also childfree spaces are a surefire way to ENSURE that women are shelved into this wife/mother role and not allowed to participate in society as normal.

that all being said the pressure for women to melt themselves completely into a wife/mother role and not be their own person once they have a child is immense. and I completely understand those who just want nothing to do with it!

My favorite thing is when athletes go through a major life change like marriage / kids and then go “nothing has changed that much!” Like DUHHHH for you. Everyone in your life caters around your lifestyle. Like max saying that. Oh boy 🙄😒 it filled me with so much rage. Men just get to continue (mostly) interrupted. Like ya Kelly has 4 nannies or whatever but I guarantee 1000% she would never say life has continued the same since having another baby😐😐😐 I mean the physical and emotional changes alone, not to mention the scheduling changes. I have learnt that being in your mid to late 20s is about gasping and shouting “child bride!” at everyone you see younger than you doing the ‘traditional’ thing of getting married/having kids. My most dark woke opinion is that no one has any business getting married or having kids before their early 30s, just because so much changes in the years before then and there’s something to be said for living life to the fullest before making that decision. But also realistically they will have a fleet of nannies on retainer so she can have a child and still have all the free time in the world for the club or a masters degree if she so wishes.
