This is my Accutane journey

Over 3 years since I have been on accutane. My skin is feeling pretty great still.

Jan 10th. I have a derm appointment on the 31st. Skin is healing pretty nicely.

December 30th. Acne is definitly still active but feeling much better. Mentally i am tired, a bit depressed.. kinda feel like i have no friends. Need to tell erik i just want to be friends. Might be making me anxious?

December 10th My face actually feels really good today..not really sore or itchy at all. Almost 1 month on 10mg

December 5th - I need to stop touching my face. Been about 3 weeks. Still in 10mg. Hair doesnt seem as oily and joints are a little sore.. no other side effects.

November 27th 2018. Face isnt sore like it was before. Still quite abit if acne around mouth, jaw, cheeks. A bit itchy. Still taking 10mg a day and yasmine

Today is November 19 2018. Been back on Yasmin for a week now and have been taking accutane (10mg) for 5 days.

I have been off accutane for a few years. Since going off i jave had really clear skin even just this summer my skin was glowing but i decided to try and go off the pill in august and my skin has reacted horribly to that. This is taken in November 12 2018. I just started the pill again today.

aug 1st 6 months post accutane!

july 19th 2016. So ive been in accutane for, i wanna say, 3 months. My skin feels amazing at this point. I still have redness and scaring but almost no active acne. I have had lots of people at work conpliment how well my skin is looking. Yay!

april 26th 2016. The derm bumped my dosage up to 40mg a day!! Iv been taking 40mg for about a week and a half at this point.. My lips are peeling off and really quite dry some days but other days not too bad. Also iv been trying to shower only every second day as well as not wear makeup alllll the time. I still cant go to work (bps) without foundation agh.

April 8th 2016 Skin seems to be worse :( maybe this is my initial breakout? Feeling really gross lately. I hardly want to go out because i have to put a full face if makeup on to feel decent.

April 2nd 2016 About 3 week on accutane! Skin and lips have dry days but nothing too serious.. Since im taking such a low doseage.

Okay so I had originally started this blog because i was feeling kinda depressed and wanted a place to write down my thoughts.. but.. I just stared taking accutane and am going to be changing it to my experience with accutane and my journey to (hopefully) clear skin. I will be updating pictures about once a month and writing about stuff I'm going through with accutane and such.
