You may have the gun but, darling, you are out of ammo.
E.G. You are desperately shooting blanks. (via whatisthenormal)
The Difference
His keen eyes enjoyed looking at the snobs. His ship still wasnāt here and who actually knew how long itād be. Just the satisfaction of cracking some of the citizens with suspense was what had him strolling along, arms crossed behind back.
Major Threat didnāt mind when he came to the ones who continued to be unphased even after having the Galactic Leaderboardās best villain staring them down. But it threw him off when he came within a good five feet of Dom.
He glared at her, and obviously something was more irritating about her reaction than the rest; Major Threat turned and circled back; more in the circle of attention.
Fifty made a measly population for an entire planet, but it didnāt make a bad crowd of mostly growing fearful, mostly weak aliens realizing their home guard systems and extensive police force might just actually be in danger (They responded most to their material possessions being endangered).
He made eye contact with her again, daring and egging. Honestly he didnāt even have a speech planned so perhaps sheād inspire something with some snarky comment or even a āwho are you?ā.
Now Hopefully Off To Bed
(( Itās already 5am.. I missed my chance to sleep at night ))
The Formers
His brows casually raised; it should only have been expected that his still villainous status would be left as an impression even on Tumbleweedās friend. It didnāt mean that he couldnāt find talking to her pleasant, but it seemed unlikely the guarded Zbornak would share those pleasantries.
What he wanted, Sylvia asked - āTo first clear introductions, diffuse this a little. Youāre right; there on myā would she take this okay? ā-former title.ā
āI hope you can call me Jeff now, man, I really do mean to make myself more respectful a man.ā It all went to Sylvia on whether she wanted to say her name. Though he knew it by word of mouth, it couldnāt be the same as having the other decide to share it.
The Chill
āYees man?ā Jeffās voice came out dopey, only a little bit of curiosity heard in it and his lazy turn to facing the Over Lord didnāt convey his relief and happy, wondering surprise.
The other was not enthused; didnāt change much for the cold space hippy; like what Tumbleweed said, an enemyās just a friend you havenāt made yet. This other was also a hope Jeff wouldnāt be stuck in the frigid outside.
āJust Jeff - a little short of an introduction but Iām willing to make do if itāll soon lead to introducing you.ā His mouth shifted to a tooth-showing smirk at his own little rhyme. āSo, hmm, Iāve so far only been walking, and a sure assurance is I donāt plan on those silly, nasty things of my past,ā the villain got it wrong: Assuming the Over Lord recognized him as his former title, Major Threat.
The Difference
@thedcmgang
It was the richest, as in every single mansion, unnecessary art gallery and fancy expensive coffee drinks were owned by the low population of filthy rich folks, and they wanted that fact to be known; Was it even a surprise that the wealth and items had drawn Major Threat over here before his ship?
The difference between Major Threat and most other villains is that they wouldnāt decide one sunny day to pop in on Wellwealth. Practically announcing the oncoming invasion.
With their noses high in the air, the people of Wellwealth could have looked more scared, but they also had high top security that they believed waaay too hard in. So in the chance that they were so inclined, crooks were free to just stop on by for a visit.
The Chill
@overlordripple
Jeff always did this: ask his commander. Stranding himself just so he could walk.
And when he could, he always found himself in new places. This one, wherever it was, had the chill that sunk in deep enough to his bones. His sandals and robe were obviously not intended for anywhere but the throne of his ship.
The Formers
@thebigbluezbornak
Still yet to catch up with Tumbleweed; Currently known as a villain. Neither mixed well, and every time he'd about approached the small orange alien, citizens would start getting panicky by his presence; Jeff would slink away.
It happened on a few planets, but by coincidence or not, he walked up on them to see only the Zbornak. Sylvia, Wander's best friend as enough of the galaxy knew them for Jeff to know as well.
āWell hello, man.ā

A soft smirk caught on his mouth at the teensy sized briefcase; he was about happy that heād misjudged the situation, it wasnāt a big case of criminal. Until it grew in size. He looked on, mouth straightened and brow quirked in mere observation.
It only turned out as clothes. Itās just too bad Mr. Slickās customer was secretly a space hippy. āSeems simple; silky; sauveā he tried to make random remarks about the clothes, smiling rather out of amusement though it could pass as intrigue. He managed to keep it up at the vast array of weapons given as examples.
āYouāre a lilā lucky old fellow, one could say - well stocked. And, man, you can sell a villain something they might be tempted to take.ā baffling that the little alien appeared to have all his limbs, all by himself. āWell Iāll say, luu u u c cky..ā
āThough itās all so far just been talk youāve caught me. Tell me more and Iāll biteā Sure, Jeff had currency, but it didnāt mean he carried more on him than a large coin purse. He didnāt wonder if it looked convincing enough when he brought it to his hand and jingled it; his acted confidence would convince most people not to question him. Acts aside though, this was becoming more just concern for the fragile looking salesman.

Rules
Repost, no reblog. List 5-10 things your character has on them at all times. Tag other people. Easy enough!
(( Major Threat ))
1. Yo-yo, gum, laser pointer - little knick knacks heās stolen from people and collects until he has too much. Then he dumps it out wherever so he can take more. (Itās fun pointing the laser at people to freak them out unnecessarily).
2. A book, since heāll undoubtedly get bored at some point while away from his ship (though the villain usually forgets he has reading material anyways).
3. Several peopleās wallets that he personally threatened out of their possession.
4. A lint roller (Major Threat glares at his orange furry menace) - also a spray bottle for that matter, set on high pressure since itās apparently easier to hit Tumbleweed with water than something that could do more than slightly upset him.
5. Guitar pick.
(( Jeff ))
1. Reusable water bottle that heāll let anyone sip from. Filled just with water, though it has minerals in it that cause it to be black.
2. Coin purse, usually contains between $8-$60 in change.
3. A hugely varied assortment of vending machine snacks. This is where his change comes in handy, and this is basically his meals (because the chefs of his troop prefer to cook only fish, crabs, and shrimp those darn squids).
4. Permanent marker. Jeff canāt escape the fame from his Major Threat days, but he doesnāt see any harm in signing a few autographs to make others happy.
5. A pretty warped photo (selfie) Tumbleweed took of himself, Major Threat, and Commander Molluk when they ran into each other at a now-shut-down diner - and then tucked into Major Threatās robes. The villain didnāt notice it until after a few cycles in the washing machine altered it. Jeff keeps it now, fondly tucked away.

Rule Update - Shipping
(( Donāt worry about going to the page, or reading this if the topic doesnāt matter to your muse. ))Ā
Iām a multishipper. You can either have your muse flirt with mine and see if it works out or message me. Mun is more keen on slowburn relationships. I donāt feel comfortable shipping Wander with children, and I may say no if I donāt personally ship it; what Iāll NEVER do is judge you for asking. Innocent crushes on my muse are always allowed, even if you donāt actually want to ship them.
(( Iām not coming to hunt your muse down if theyāre a human or oc now that the rules have changed. Personally for my blog, it was unfair to let my fears of having to turn anyone down make anyone feel excluded. So theyāre changed now, large parts due to a nice, patient someone ^_^ ))
The First Visit
āHeey, big deal, man. Secrets are hardly worth sharing. Heard enough boring ones myself.ā The other didnāt appear concerned with what the Cthulhu was saying anyways, walking off with a few quips.
Well, he was interested in seemingly the only person clueless to who he was, and not used to things not turning out as Major Threat wanted - but not one to get physically violent to another, no matter what it made him feel.. At least her bitterness was kind of funny. And he wasnāt bound to this galaxy, thereād be more people to try fooling into thinking he was normal. Getting snarky right back helped anyways.
āOuch. But I canāt find it in me to mind if you take your services over that way, man. Thanks for worrying, morsel.ā
Commander Molluk was probaby looking for him. Or not (the more likely of the two). He liked to imagine the short, scowling squid cursing up a storm and running about in a furious panic over the lack of the super villain, so preferably he was. Theyād maybe go conquer a planet. Heād get some sick satisfaction if it was this planet and thatās the way the alien found out why no one else laughed at his name.. but he also just felt like leaving her alone and -being a bad guy after all- that sickened him.

āY e pā Jeff lazily answered, smirk stretched and.. actually not really intimidating, it was just his normal one. He was betting hard on fan with the use of honour.
He let the tiny alien prattle on a bit (though at the mention of the strength of his power, Mr. Slick was set back down; it wasnāt likely to but the Cthulhu didnāt want to think about accidentally hurting the other).
āWell this took an interesting turn, huh.ā
Out from what the former villain expected, but Mr. Slickās tone didnāt try hiding it so Jeff couldnāt be denying it. If this fellowās life was crooked, Jeff could at least try helping him out of it. For now he could get at what the extent of these probably illegal possessions went to. āGot anything youād show to Major Threat, pipsqueak?ā
His instincts were to encase the oncoming projectile with his own energy and stop it midair to dangle mockingly in front of the assailant: a fancy show of how strong he was. But his hands went up and just froze. Heād never seen such an intense fire come from nowhere! (and maaaybe he wasnāt expecting it and rather, his hands went up as a basic reaction: he didnāt need them to use magic otherwise). The flames licked his outstretched arms and he jumped back on reaction, enough to lessen the magic damage. It s t u n g.
His gem sizzled with his own capabilities inside. āGood GROP that was unnecessary!..ā He rubbed at his cloaked arms before scowling up at Arle.
āDonāt mess with them. Thatās what your parents should have told you, man, but hey Iām happy to give out free life lessons. Iāll teach you how to say a few cool swears now, though these wonāt save your life next time you want to crisp a villain..ā he took one sharp inhale. āFor flarfs gnarbbling yissnap! - One flarfed up s ur pris e, man. Grop.ā By now he'd cooled down to a more silent fury. Or.. disappointment, rather.
Closed RP: The Meeting of Major Threat?
Lots of the people visiting this planet didnāt know he was here; what they did know was stay clear of that way for hush-hush reasons. The area the former villain was now walking about, to be precise.
It was kinda distressing, lonely, though he accepted it was the just desserts of his former ways: Jeff could only move forward from what he brought on himself and he wasnāt hiding his former personality to do it, donning the same style as years ago.
Then just as suddenly as his occasional thoughts had come, a smaller alien had as well. That fixed his loneliness, though it was rare for anyone other than fans or evil-doers to approach him under that title so eagerly. āA pretty good chance, haheh. Are you a fan my honest salesman, or does just anyone let me do this to them?ā Using his telekinetic powers, he lifted the other up to meet his height. āH e ll o.ā
There wasnāt any harm in playing out his old self (overly gruff voice included). Maybe this fellow had the wrong impression of Major Threat. Maybe heād make a fanboy happy. It was hard to tell since it was preeetty uncommon.
