A lot of guys don’t know the best way to get a girl’s number.
They tend to just say something like, “Why don’t you let me get your number?”
That can work, but there’s a thing or two wrong with it:
1) She can easily just say no, and:
2) That doesn’t give her a reason for doing it.
Now it’s a well known fact that when you ask someone to do something - it doesn’t matter what it is - the chances that they will do it go way up when you give them a reason to do it.
So how do we take advantage of that fact?
We use one simple word:
Because.
Just by saying because followed by a reason, odds are that you will get that number.
But you can make it work even better than that with just a little more effort.
Here’s how:
Before you ask to get her number, go ahead and get your phone ready. Create a contact with her name. Better yet, create a contact with some cute or clever name instead of her actual name.
When you’re ready to get her number; stick your phone out right up next to her. Get it into her space. You’re making a motion to hand it to her.
Usually, when you try to hand someone something, they will automatically reach out to take it, and that’s when you do the most important thing:
“Why don’t you give me your number because I really want to talk to you more later.”
That does three things:
1) She sees the cute or clever name that you out in for her.
2) She reaches out and takes your phone.
3) You ask for her number at the same time that she takes the phone; and you give her a reason for giving it to you.
You’re going to get that number - she is going to put it in herself and hand the phone back to you.
On top of that, when you call her, she is going to remember exactly who you are and how you met.
She is going to take that call.
