So I actually wrote something to go with this, and it is pasted below,,
Mature warning for making out and stuff, but nothing exceeds that. I tried not to be too descriptive, maybe I'll save it for somewhere else.
It is also a little over 900 words, so short, not peer-edited/beta read, and written WAAAAY past bedtime again. I have a more polished story in the works (that one will take awhile).
Ghost stiffens the moment Gilbert’s arms slide around his waist, with the warmth pressing close against his front. It sort of felt nauseating, which wasn't exactly ideal when your boyfriend's been waiting for a moment alone with you for days.
Trapped against the pillows and the steel headboard with nowhere to retreat, he felt just about every bit of Gilbert’s weight. And when Gilbert smiles and leans in closer, he turns his head away instead. His face burns and something begins to claw its way up the back of his throat as his nausea only worsened.
“Need me to stop?” Gilbert asks, unaffected by him suddenly dodging the kiss. He doesn’t push it.
Ghost clenches his jaw before answering with a clipped, “No.”
“Okay.. Is it.. This? Am I too close?” Gilbert murmurs, “I can let go if it’s too much for ya. You look like you’re gonna throw up all over me." His voice trails off, amused but loses energy near the end.
Ghost sighs. He doesn’t particularly enjoy that he’s this way. He so badly wants to give Gilbert everything he’s ever wanted, but all this affection and "being boyfriends" stuff was hard. He shifts, trying to get a bit more comfortable. Maybe it’d ease his anxiety.
“It’s fine just–never mind it.” He mumbles, squirming uncomfortably.
“Sure,” Gilbert says softly, “Oh, here, it would be easier if you can open your legs a little.” He hums, parting his boyfriend’s knees so he can press closer between them as to not put his weight on anything he shouldn't–like Ghost's legs that had been previously bent between them.
Ghost feels heat flare in his face as Gilbert presses closer. Too intimate! His mind cried.
“I think this is better, I hope.” Gilbert smiles innocently, unaware of just how frayed at the edges the other was becoming.
“I guess..” Ghost can only muster.
Gilbert to some extent know how stiff he was about these things, so he tries to be cautious every time despite how badly he wanted this, wanted him. He gazes at him for a moment and becomes pleasantly aware by the flush on Ghost’s face.
HIs hand rose and cupped the side of the other’s face in careful movement.
“Can I, uhh..” He chuckles awkwardly. Yes, he was typically the bold one for initiating things, yet words still failed him.
Ghost can’t speak, mouth opening a few times stupidly before finally choking out a small, “Okay.”
Gilbert only stares at him for a second longer before he surges forward. Their faces align awkwardly at first, and Gilbert pulls away, chuckling out a small apology before tilting his head a bit for a better angle. With his thumb pressing into the softness of Ghost’s cheek, he practically smushes their lips back together.
It’s clumsy as their mouths fumble without a rhythm to follow, especially since Gilbert keeps pressing into Ghost’s lips too eagerly.
While Gilbert was reeling in the thrill of finally kissing him, a lot of things rose in Ghost all at once. Suddenly, he thinks he’s going to REALLY throw up this time, but unexpectedly, what comes out of his throat is a noise. It’s incredibly embarrassing, and normally he’d take it out on the nearest thing, however, whatever that was only made Gilbert press closer. He was nearly on top of him at this point!
Ghost’s breaths abruptly come in sharp and shaky through his nose when he remembers to breathe. His stomach flips as Gilbert makes a pleased humming sound against his mouth.
They shuffle a bit on the bed to get comfortable in this new position Gilbert seems to be pushing. Ghost’s legs are pressed into either side of Gilbert, while the latter has one hand braced against the headboard and the other on the pillows by Ghost’s head.
This causes their kiss to break as they breathe heavily.
“Still okay?” Gilbert breathes out.
“If you keep talking, I’m kicking you off.” Ghost threatens, and hates how equally out of breath he sounds.
Grinning, Gilbert goes ahead and takes it as a yes, kissing him hard. He feels his nerves jolt when Ghost’s finally reciprocates fully by wrapping his arms around his neck, one hand going as far as sliding into his hair. Encouraged by his enjoyment, he parts his own lips to prod his tongue against Ghost’s mouth, to which opens after a few dizzy seconds.
Their tongues meet each other in an unpracticed slide. There’s really no sign of expertise from either of them as their open mouths and tongues met over and over.
Ghost would normally cringe at such an offensive display, but he was too busy panting and gasping into the other man’s mouth.
The moment is ruined when Gilbert gets too ahead of himself and begins trailing messy kisses down Ghost's neck.
The kisses pressed into his sensitive skin makes Ghost jolt and yank Gilbert's head back by his hair. He nearly dies on the spot at the guttural sound that leaves Gilbert's parted lips. His heart races from feeling more than he's used to.
“Okay! Th-That’s enough!” He rushes out, too panicked and flustered to let it continue any longer.
Gilbert pants softly, needing a moment to come back from whatever rush that had gone through him seconds ago.
“Okay..” He mumbles, dazed.
“I.. Um.” Ghost swallows, unsure what to even say or do now. His stomach flipped just thinking about the kissing. He wasn’t expecting.. All of that, initially.
He frowns, staring at Gilbert’s dopey look and can’t help but smile a little.
“You’re so dumb.” He murmurs, barely recognizing his own voice laced with affection and shyness.
Gilbert grins in response, pulling off of him and nestling in next to him instead.
Then they explode ok the end
