Please hear me out:

I’m an Emotion-Sadist. I really love threads that are emotionally disturbing or downdragging to a certain degree. You must never be afraid to come to me and write something dramatic, emotional or complex. It’s those threads that give me the opportunity to come up with lots of ideas and depth!

The more emotion, the more complex, the better. Adult threads - YES PLEASE! We can all write shorties or one liners and fluff and whipty-doo-dee you know. But what makes a good thread is the topics that determine life the most (and that is just not always happiness, fluff and other sweet things). I’m not saying I’m not up for it, sure I like writing sweet things, but my muse just isn’t all sweet and genuine!

In another fandom I’ve seen lots of people be like “But I just wanna write threads that are nice”. Slowly everyone ran out of ideas, things got boring, ships broke up and friendships ended. I think if muses can overcome certain obstacles it only makes them bond much stronger - whether positively in a friendship manner or negatively in a villain manner - and therefore writing things like drama or tragedy is important to me! 

I am not underage anymore, I am of legal age, and I want to try myself out in all possible aspects that roleplay offers me. Please fight with my muse, break him, attack him, argue with him, cry at him, cry with him, make him flustered, startle him, scare him, be someone he thinks of in difficult situations. Give me the opportunity to go into DEPTH with him!

HOW TO: Get Those Pretty Box Themes???

They’ve become incredibly popular for rp blogs, but they can be super annoying to make or edit into something usable, especially if you have no idea what’s going on or how they’re done!

 I figured I would put up some links that were helpful to me in learning, because coding is very much a process that can be more than a bit annoying! 

some base codes are here - the good thing about base codes is that often tumblr users put instructions within the code itself, so you can see how everything works together and get a general idea of what exactly a completed tumblr code looks like. Also, base codes are super easy to tweak to your liking. 

this is a program that helps you learn coding - i find it super helpful!

this takes you step by step on how to make a tumblr theme of your own. it’s useful to check out the other tutorials that this person has as well! :)

this tumblr is EXTREMELY useful and has tutorials and a bunch of themes and base codes to look around at. I’ve used it countless times

hollywhood themes are notoriously easy to customize, and if you google how to make them into contained themes it should pop up super easy

and then, as of late, some people have even put up codes specifically for rp themes!

Wonder no more, they’re made in Photoshop!! This one is super helpful in that it has a psd that is super custom-made for this code already!!

Manipulative Characters in Roleplays

I’ve kind of always wanted to write this rant, so here we go:

You know when there’s that character in the RP whose bio says that he’s supposed to be ‘manipulative’ and ‘sly’ and really good at reading people and clever and stuff?

Those characters are supposed to be brilliant puppet-masters, and they’re supposed to be able to manipulate other characters. The admins wrote that character that way for a reason, and the person playing the character should have the liberty to use their character in a realistic way. So when you’re playing against a character like that, don’t have your character guess the manipulative/secretive character’s motives just because you want the ‘good guys’ to win. Especially if you’re playing someone who’s supposed to be easily manipulated.
