CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

As yet untitled SLUT ZINE!

For this zine I want to gather experiences of being called a slut and being shamed for it, or anything you might consider as being relevant to this topic. I am looking for contributions from anyone who has been on the receiving end of this, or who has been an observer in a situation of this happening. Some areas to think about might include:

- how being slut shamed has affected you mentally and emotionally

- how being called a slut relates to gender- ways that being called a slut could relate to race

- slut shaming and victim blaming in relation to sexual harassment, abuse, assault etc.

- slut shaming and sex work- reclamation of the word ‘slut’ and similar terms

- the damage caused by slut shaming in our communities and relationships

- anything else you can think of that might fit

If you have any feelings on this topic, I want to hear from you! 

I am looking for written pieces or artwork, in whatever format you are comfortable with. If you have an idea but don’t know where to begin, get in touch as I’m totally willing to help brainstorm ideas with you!

All submissions will be kept 100% ANONYMOUS unless you specifically request otherwise.
