A great shadow blocks out the moonlight—and Strahd looks up, his eyes widening slightly.

Above, a gargantuan raven as tall as the Blue Water Inn, with a wingspan twice as long, descends upon the mountainside. Great gusts of wind blow from each errant twitch of its wings, sending eddies of powdered snow whipping across the ice. With grace that belies its massive size, it alights onto the jagged crags below, its cart-sized talons crushing and gouging the stone beneath them.

With a single, jerking motion, it throws its head forward toward Strahd and shrieks in warning and defiance. A thunderous wave of sound sweeps out across the mountain, the raven’s sonorous, booming cry ringing in your ears.

This one was a blast to do. Thanks to Dragnacarta for writing the scene that inspired it!

We completed our Curse of Strahd campaign a couple months ago and I’ve compartmentalized it so I no longer have to think of the tragic way it ended.

We were all so so distraught our final session we were all sobbing like babies 💧

As it almost horror season, I wanted to show off the full piece for Memento Mori: A Curse of Strahd Fanzine vol. 2 NSFW side (thanks to @strahdzine for the chance) but I'm putting it under a spoiler so no one will be disappointed from gore or spoilers to the book 🦇

Behold once more! The full art spread was a massive, time consuming thing, that I've made with so much pride put in. I loved this book, truly adored the gem of my humble list of read series of Ravenloft novels. I've made it as double achievement of mine as it was not on my native language and I read it fully in english. The "I, Strahd: The War Against Azalin"

Who is Strahd von Zarovich?

Strahd von zarovich was a neglected childless dilf with mommy issues and the world's worst crash out over his midlife crisis and cucking via his brother. Aka his bro married his crush and he killed his brother.

Then he became a vampire lord trapped in his own county where he harass the reincarnation of his crush for centuries. He plays the master manipulator and/or charming nobleman, but really he's a sad little man who is a loser with a temper.
