I’m soooooo embarrassed. My lord told me “good night,” but I thought he was calling me a good knight, and, well, you could hear it clink against my codpiece.

I don't know who my intended audience is here, so whoever needs to hear this, I am begging you to learn to participate in conversations that are about things you aren't interested in.
Part of socializing and having friends is being a good listener even when you don't actually give a shit about the subject.
Your are hurting other people's feelings when you bluntly respond with "Anyway..." and then change the topic.
It can not always be about your preferred topic.
You are being rude. Yes, even if you are neurodivergent. You can be both autistic and rude.

Misthopper secret strahd exchange! This time with nautical themes. The prompt i recieved from @inkycapomen was for rahadin washing blood from his hands/hair and looking at his reflection with slight guilt.
My original take on the prompt was more contemplative but I was struggling with the rendering of the water/background in a cohesive way. Ultimately chose to restart and am very happy I did! This new one, while reading more aggressive with rahadin facing the viewer has a much more striking response. The guilt he feels now more like the curse it is.
I'm SO excited to finally share these pieces I created for D&D's Ravenloft: The Horrors Within.
This project was such a huge honor to work on. I remember as a kid looking through the players manuals & doing little studies of the artwork in there, so this feels a bit full-circle. You can get a peek at higher-res versions of them on my insta!

I love how when Jobst tells Henry he should head home to Rattay:
Both of Henry's responses are to decline, just, one more polite than the other.
"I have to rescue Sir Hans! I made a promise I'd protect him!" or "It's Lord Capon, Your Grace. I came to find out where he is and rescue him."
Obviously, this is because the story can't happen if Henry returns to Rattay, but I like what it says about Henry and why he does things. Because Istvan was kinda right, this isn't Henry's war, he isn't too invested over who's king. He is allied with Wenceslas supporters because Sigismund burned his home, his father, and his best friend and crush are all on Wenceslas's side. Henry is doing this, definitely in this stage out of his personal loyalty to Hans.
He outright tells Jobst he came here to rescue Hans. Not because of his duty, but because he made a promise. He promised Hans he wouldn't let anything happen to him and I feel so much about it.
As Jobst and zizka keep arguing, Henry repeatedly says he can't leave because:
The image is from the last time he says it but he tells Jobst multiple times in such a soft voice that he made a promise... he promised Hans and that is one promise Henry does not intend to break. I am unwell.
And Zizka is using Henry's desire to rescue Hans for his own ends, telling him he would help him rescue Hans if he has his men, but Henry then goes to rescue Hans alone.
Henry collects the Devil's pack, finds Liechtenstein, deals with the Ruthards, uncovers an illegal minting operation, blackmails council members, only to later break into a fortress on his own all to save Hans. Fuck. I mean, Hans goes so soft on Henry afterwards and I really can't blame him. And he doesn't even know the half of it!
