Thank you for bringing peace to my valley. And good luck with the child. May it survive and bring you a handsome reward.
THE MANDALORIAN | CHAPTER 2: THE CHILD
“Down to Gehenna, or up to the Throne, He travels the fastest who travels alone.”
1917 (2019) dir. Sam Mendes
RED LIGHTSABERS represent evil and power. Red lightsabers are notorious as a weapon carried by the Sith. These sabers are powered by synthetic crystals. Jedi gained possession of the planet Ilum, the region in which the most naturally growing lightsaber crystals could be found. Due to the Jedi’s possession of the planet, the Sith are unable to discover lightsaber crystals, and thus have to steal their kybers or employ other methods to build their lightsabers. It was then that the Sith began crafting their own synthetic lightsaber crystals. The process is known as “bleeding,” and consists on pouring all their hate, fear, and other negative emotions into the crystal, causing it to “bleed” and turn red. Unlike the Jedi, who wielded various colored lightsabers, the Sith all carried red lightsabers. It was a symbol of their unity and unwavering dedication to the Dark side of the Force.

Me jode.
